It got stuck in the descale cycle and never transitioned back to the normal brewing cycle. Never could find out how to manually reset. Very disappointing for such an otherwise nice coffee maker.

Unfortunately, I can tell you nothing about the taste of the coffee it brews. I set it up and, despite the full water tank, it said add H2O. I tried everything-emptied and filled over and over, unplugged and started again over and over. I called customer service and was told it had a faulty sensor and I should exchange it at the store. Returned. This seems like a warning of problems to come and at this price point I was hoping I was buying a quality product that would last.

I bought it and after a month I returned it, the coffee stays hot for an hour, after that you have to make another one. I have a NINJA coffee maker that keeps my coffee hot for 4 hours, you can program it and even after 2 hours it remains hot unlike this one. The design of this coffee maker is incredible, it matches any kitchen, but it is not worth the price. Don't waste money on this brand.

However, on receiving this I found that they had shipped me an unit that was clearly faulty. I followed all the instructions (which are quite sketchy to say the least) to the letter - washed the carafe, the filter, brew basket, etc. I filled the tank with water to the max level and then pressed the "brew" button to brew 2 cups of coffee. The unit wanted me to add more H2O!! But I had already filled the tank to its maximum capacity! So I tried again and the same result. Then the machine started to display an error code ("Err3") for which the manufacturer has no trouble-shooting guide. The unit may look great but it is no good if it doesn't work. I posted a question on their website which no one has bothered to answer as of yet. So I have decided to return the unit back to BESTBUY and order something from a different brand that works.

Posted .Hi VIVEK, thanks so much for your review. We're sorry to hear about the issues that you've had with your coffeemaker, we can understand how that would be frustrating. We found the following information about error codes when starting a brew and during a brew, they are as follows: 1. "Err" displayed when starting a brew: Verify that the carafe is centered in middle of the carafe pocket. Remove the carafe and put it back in place to re-center. Make sure you are using the carafe that came with the product to activate brewing. 2. "Err" displayed during a brew: If the carafe is removed during the cycle, the error message will display and the cycle will stop. After two minutes, the message will stop being displayed and the brew cycle will end. To fix the issue, replace the carafe within the two minutes. - We're sorry to hear that you ended up having to return your unit, we hope that we can work hard in the future to earn your trust back.
