Call of Duty keeps getting better. Some of the missions are high tempo, regardless of the level. You never know what’s hiding around the corner. Ambushes are plentiful. So watch your surroundings. Those Germans are tricky. Switching to different allies throughout the game keeps you on your toes. Some of the weapons I could do without. I found myself using the enemies more over the course of the time. Since, it seems to be easy access instead of looking for ammo. The tank missions are a little better then the past games. If you like high paced; intense shooting action. This game is perfect for you.

when i bought this game i thought it would be alright . but it was better than i expected. the gameplay is intense making it feel like ur in a real battle and the online is good too. but the thing about the online is it takes a long time to find a game. i can be waiting for 10 min. trying to find a game. i hope they change that in call of duty 4. but it is a good game besides the wait time. i would reconmend it

Great FPS, although fell short of COD2. Great campaign mode with very large missions. New to this game is some hand to hand fighting sequences. Unfortunately these too fell short of expectations as they are horribly scripted and the controls are clumsy. Great Multi player action with up to 24 people per map. If you are a COD fan this is absolutely a must have.

This game has some of the best graphics for the Xbox 360. I love the Call of Duty series and this one is just another to the great hits. Like I said the graphics are very good and the controls are very easy, just like the other games. The game's storyline is easy to follow but very interesting to learn, I recommend playing the game on veteran. There is a complete arsenal of weapons to choose from, which include the German gun's after you kill them!

Single player campaign is incredible. The online multiplayer is even better. 24 players! Graphics and AI are outstanding! Awsome game

The career mode is great this game will probably be better than CoD4. I've beenplaying this game since it came out and it never gets old. It beats Halo and Tom clancy by a long shot. This is the best war game out right now. If CoD4 comes out and kills this game, that game will be on the top of my list!

This is a great game, good graphics, plenty of intense gameplay. Multiplayer is fun on XBOX live. Everyonce in a while an allie can get in the way, which is very annoying. If you like the old WW style games, this is a great one to have.

the multiplayer in this game is fantastic! stellar graphics, same old same old singleplayer.

The single player campaign mode os not as good as COD2 but it's still good, what really makes this game is the Multiplayer, the multiplayer compared to COD2 is awesome, it may take some getting used to compared to the multiplayer on COD2 but once you do you'll be hooked, I've had this game for a year and am still playing the multiplayer, COD3 muliplayer improvements include 24 players online, much bigger more free roaming maps, the use of vehicles, a new game mode called WAR which is awesome, and the ability in player matches to see the map game mode and how many players are in a certain game and then just jump in, instead of waiting in a lobby for player to show up and a random map, if you like multiplayer game you like this one

When I first bought this game, it was just amazing how great the graphics were. The details within the game are a lot better than that of my ps2 when i had it. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes ww2 games. the only downside is that whenever you restart where you left off, it goes through the whole cinematic movie again which in some cases is very lengthy. But overall, it was well worth it.

COD 3 IS SO COOL THE GRAPHICS ARE REALY COOL TOO. THE MULTIPLAYER IS SO MUCH FUN. YOU WONT EVER STOP PLAYING. BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

This game is fantastic. Great graphics, Immersive gameplay. Some of the best Multiplayer since Halo 2(can anyone say Team Fortress Classic). Overall you'll be happy with your purchase if your big into First Person Shooters.

This game only builds on the success of the series. If you want a very solid FPS, then buy this game. Very fun with a lot of game play involved.....it will not disappoint.

This game doesn't quite rate 4 stars but I had to give it 4 because it's too good to rate a 3 (Best Buy can you please give the ability to rate half stars). 3 and a half stars easily, the game is very fun to play. I usually hate the cut-scenes between levels on most games but really enjoy the ones in COD3. If you already have COD2 and love shooters this one is worth buying (but if you are going to purchase one or the other go with version 2). After buying COD2 and playing it through several times I craved more and though I chose version 2 over version 3 based on reviews I decided the price was right and got COD3. I don't regret it, it's a good game and much fun but I am glad Activision is going with the original COD developers for COD4 which comes out next month. Not a must have, but certainly not a waste of money. If your considering it, buy it.

It's a good game, except for a few things: 1. hand to hand combat seens where you can't shoot a guy your basically fist fighting 2. In the storyline, everyone that was ever of any importance gets killed in the last mission, except as an American, when your sergeant dies in the middle, and then your new sergeant dies at the end 3. if you need to plant a charge on it or use field artillary, you need to actually rotate the joysticks in half circles, full circles, back and forth, all sorts of directions All in all, it's a good game. i only got it because i wanted to be able to say i've played every game in the CoD series. it came free when i got Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. still tho, CoD4 and Gears of War will always be better. but i'm definatly going to buy Call of Duty: World at War when it comes out later this year.

an excellent game for a shooter type of person. excellent multi-player and campaign is superior to other call of duty's. One of my favorites.

I usaually don't play these kind of games but played this and its awesome. The graphics are insanley awesome for the x box 360. The war fare is great in the game too. I think this a few of the better war games out there

CoD3 is fun and all, the action is great, but looking at it from one perspective, one call right away see the similarities in the game play with CoD2. Fun none the less, still recommended.

One would expect something to greatly surpass the Game of the year Call of Duty 2, this was not the case. Call Of DUty 3 is more of an expansion of COD 2 in that everything is pretty much the same with the acception of single player cause missions are different. Online play is exactly the same and frankly lack luster. this game is not bad at all if you dont have live and want a nice single player game to work on. but if your a live gamer or want the full COD experience pass this one up get Modern Warfar
