By far the worst COD to date!

If your into the far fetched, unrealistic, form of COD, then this will be right up your alley... otherwise, if your a fan of the Modern Warfare, WW2 versions, with mostly realistic gameplay, then you are absolutely going to hate this COD! This us such a very fast paced style of play... if you can't handle the run & gun style of play, then your a sitting duck in this version! Campers beware, you will be lucky to come out with a positive kill/death ratio... not that I would ever want anyone camping on my team anyways! Anyways, I am a big run & gun style player, but this takes it ti the ridiculous level! Way to easy to sit there with your team & camp the enemy's spawn site & never let the other team get past their spawning grounds! Only mode worth playing, is Control.. a new twist to gameplay that makes this version playable.

I've been playing Call of Duty titles for years, but I'm an old-school gamer that plays games to unwind and temporarily forget about the troubles of the day. COD started as a single player campaign shooter, which I absolutely loved. It was just you and a controller immersed in history while trying to save the free world. Over the years the games became more and more focused on multiplayer modes and the campaigns suffered from it. Now Activision has pulled the plug on the single player COD experience for a revamped version of Fortnite. I realize that this appears to be the trend in gaming and many people (kids) are fawning over the new COD, but if you're looking for a classic single player shooter you'll need to look elsewhere.

I found this to be quite a lackluster game. I received it "free" as a part of a bundle with a headset. Even though it was free, I found it not worth it and I certainly do not think it is worth full price. It does not have a single player campaign. Blackout is kind of cool and refreshing, however it crashes on my Xbox One X and has quit to the home screen every time I played it. Zombies has a new style to it, like an arena type game, and it is during the daytime. Does not seem worth 60 bucks when battle royale games are free or much much less than this. If this was consistently reliable and was priced at $20, I would give it a higher rating. Cons: Price Game crashes Lack of content and modes Short shelflife with new CoD games come out each year

I was very excited when it came out and pay de full price for it. However after installing it ( beware of the 65 gb update) I noticed that there is no campaign solo missions. Everything is set for multiplayer and Zombie missions. There is also a mode called Battle Royale which is a Fortnite knock off. but you use the Call of Duty Mechanics so it is very easy to die specially when you don't have experience. Totally a waste of money if you are those people who just play the solo campaigns. I don;t recommend if you pay anything above $10

Got this game free from a promo... I have played all the COD games and this one is by far the worst. I’m sorry if i don’t go into detail but its all so bad I don’t know where to begin, nor do I wish to make a lengthly review on such a bad game. i’m glad it was free, cause if i paid even $10 for a this I would feel really ripped off...if it had any kind of campaign it might be redeemable... and yes I played it for 8hr and gave it a chance, (2 stars cause it functioned without flaws)

It's not what I expect from COD, in fact its a big departure from the COD as we know it. For me its too futuristic, weapons and sounds are big disappointment to me. The game play is just ok. I do like the use of the old maps. If you are a fan of Fortnite, then you will probably find this game enjoyable, however, if you are a fan of COD WWII, you will most likely not find this as enjoyable. Personally I am still playing WWII 85-90% of the time.

Joke is on me. Didn't know what I was thinking that this game would be different than others. First of all, the interface is all different and doesn't make much sense. It took a very long time to load and install the game the first time, and lengthy load times after. They reused many of the same maps from previous releases...but just added more texture. If you like the COD games, this is more of the same just with a different menu.

I know that the big draw for COD games is the multiplayer experience and that most don't even play the campaign, that said.... I am disappointed that there isn't a campaign. It is my favorite and they are always so well done. Maybe they'll add one via DLC and force us to pay even more for something that should have been included in the first place.

Im not much of an online player, due to time constraints. One of the main reasons I bought the game is for the campaign. I find out (after I bought it) that it doesn't have one. How are you gonna make a COD without campaign? Even at half price, I feel like I got ripped off. I know, dumb me for thinking COD came with a campaign before buying it.

Bought this game thinking it would be similar to the previous versions. The box said it had a single player mode, which I thought was the campaigns. I was wrong, you can only play this game online, which I don't do. Total waste of 60.00 because I can't return it. It is now a coaster on my end table. Very disappointed, because I was looking forward to playing.

If you're expecting the traditional Call of Duty game you're going to be in for a disappointment. I didn't know this game was merely a near exact copy off of Fortnite until my 10 year old told me while it was installing. Never would've bought the game had I known this. If I wanted to play game that's like Fortnite then I'd play Fortnite.

Well I’d consider this to be an immediate return if that were possible. There is no campaign mode and the only way to “play” is online which means, in my case “you’re dead, you’re dead, you’re dead”. No thanks. I’ve always enjoyed a good story, saved games, and a good first person shooter. This is a fail for sure for me...

This is a online game only with no campaign mode to play. Biggest complaints are recycled maps from years past and be ready to be spawn killed, ruthlessly. After the game starts it just flip flops spawn locations allowing the winning team to pin down the spawning players. Game became boring after the first week.

First of all no campaign is a bummer. The multiplayer is not much different then black ops 3. Same characters. Same maps. Similar guns. Worst COD I’ve ever played. The Battle Royal is ok but you can play Fortnite for free for a similar experience. For $60 I was expecting better. I’m disappointed in this game.

they sold this game out for the MLG crowd, guns are weak TTK is too long. Fast Gamemodes are gone like demolition, replaced with control and and heist which is limited respawns, they are trying to turn COD into rainbow 6. Maps are really good though, not to big or small, as are the graphics so much potential lost.

The only reason I purchased this game was because my friend wouldn’t shut up about me getting it. It’s only fun to play with friends. This game has so many crashes and bad business practices within it that I can’t stand to play this game. Last, Where IS THE CONTENT TREYARCH?

I stopped buying COD games when they started letting players run on walls. I liked the MW series because it had a good story mode and I didn't have to worry about getting killed every 5 seconds by a 12 year old. I decided to give this game a shot but I do regret it now.

With much anticipation I purchased this title. BO3 was one of my favorite titles ever. But now alas, this is a poor knock off of Fortnite. There is no story tobplay through, I didn't even dare open the Zombies attached after the single time I played this. COD is now DOA. RIP.

Complete rip off. Very disappointed that there was no campaign. And if you really want to compete without going through the 250 game hours it would take to get all of the great items, you can always pay for them. I really feel that Activision let us down on this one.

Not surprised to say the least, that this COD was a let down like the past few have been. They're nothing like the originals at all. Game was way too over hyped. Sold within a week after purchase. Not worth 50-60$
