ok.1st I will say I love call of duty.i like battlefield 4. yes.but im more run and gun.i don't camp,i don't play weak,if you u know what I mean! so when ghost came out I said hey, it wont be bad.i knew it wouldn't be a better so called new cod.but when I played at first I was so mad.the maps have to many doors too many openings and the layouts are just bad, the reason I say the maps are bad is because.they way they are built, u get killed from behind 60% of the time.the other 40% you get killed by a guy/girl camping.then thinking about after you get over the camping and getting killed fast from behind.next you still have to deal with the horrid spawning system.they spawn an enemy right behind u and vice versa.i am a really good player on psn.every cod I play im always ranked high with a good k/d ratio.but in ghost im below 1.0. because of these bad maps and spawns.also this game is slowly but surely getting to be more and more like battlefield.the maps are way to big.sad to say I hate this game.but since I paid 60$ I will play it to get my moneys worth.now if you are reading this and have yet to buy this game, I say if u can get it new for 30$ or less go for it.but if not.pass.im starting to get frustrated with this series.

The huge maps with tons of junk encourage camping (you won't be a good player unless you do). Not a good multi-player FPS experience.

It is an ok game but I think the maps are too big and too many sniper places. but since they brought out the new maps that are smaller its ok

The story is pretty fun, and online has some new game modes, but the maps are horrible. Definitely could've done better there

Was skeptical about the same old COD game, but this game was brilliantly upgraded from past CODs. One bad thing is the multiplayer maps are huge, and have the occasional deathmatch end with of a score of around 27-14.

I got this for the campaign and alien mode. The multiplayer isn't that good, the maps are too large. But the rest of the game is good and the alien invasion mode is awesome!

This is a REALLY poor copy of the already played-out franchise. The only reason it got 2 stars from me is the campaign was mildly entertaining. Online is HUGE maps with TONS of bugs.

Been stuck on this game for such a long time. Maps are big and a bit confusing but that always takes time to get to know them. Graphics are incredible!

Call of Duty Ghosts was a fun single player experience, but the multiplayer is was a huge disappointment for me. The maps in multiplayer are too large and lead to excessive snipping. I sold the game a few weeks after purchasing.

Multiplayer maps are not very fun. There is no strategy involved. Unless you're a sniper, you die every 5 seconds.

Great addition to the COD franchise. Campaign mode has a good story and multiplayer is still fun. Maps are fairly large with a few too many places for campers so it does get frustrating, but once you play enough and know the hiding spots it gets a little better.

    Online MP is really bad!

I want to express that this is my sole opinion based on my experience, and you are entitled to your own. To me this is the worst Infinity Ward COD game to date. The online multiplayer is designer for people who want to camp with sniper rifles, which is really annoying. I also don't like how now you have to buy guns, attachments, secondary weapons, etc. I preferred the styled where you unlocked items as you rank up. The online maps are pretty bad too. A lot of the maps are pretty big, which plays into the camper style of play, and there are few smaller maps where you have to fight. I thought the campaign was fine, actually the best part about the game, and that's about it. I've had my PS4 for about two weeks and I am trading in Ghosts for Battlefield. Honestly I think this is my final installment of COD games. Yeah it's that bad.

The game has an average story and didn't really pay too much attention to the characters. The multiplayer maps were not the best and too much running around in huge maps. Some maps were good, but get tired of it very fast. I would prefer other Call of Duty series instead. Overall, the game is solid and the story need to be longer.

This is my 3rd copy of this game. I bought the newest copy for thr PS4 I just bought. I have a copy for my Xbox 360 and for the piece of trash I own called Xbox One. Good game for the most part. Spawns are kinda messed up and some maps have way too many spots for campersito hide, but otherwise a good game.

COD continues to come up with the best first shooter games to date. This is no exception to Ghosts. It has a variety of new perks you can choose from to make your character stronger to your playing needs. The one thing I do not really like is that the maps are a little too big and there are way to many spots for campers to hide and kill you easily without you been able to determine where they killed you from. Overall another great COD game and I cant wait until they decide to come up with a Black ops 3 in the future.

Let's be clear. I'm not a cod fan and I know a lot of cod fans don't like this game. But I actually had some fun with this. I don't like all the wall running from the newer games so to go back and pick this up was nice. It seems to play slower online and the maps feel really dense. I actually like this one.

Great campaign, GREAT Extinction, Meh Multiplayer.

Extinction is great. The campaign was a lot of fun. Multiplayer is severely lacking. The amount of options in perks is overwhelming, the balancing is off, all of the maps are too hectic, too nonlinear, and way to big for COD. Worth it for the other two modes though, and the multiplayer is still forgiveable. If you're thinking about getting it now, though, definitely wait until Advanced Warfare comes out 11/4.

The UI tries way too hard not to be like a CoD game to the point that the only alternative is to rip off Battlefield 4, right down to the color scheme of orange and blue for opponents and allies. It pretty much rewards all of the worst playing habits: quick scoping and camping. The controls feel stiff and sluggish. It's almost like playing a generic version of Call of Duty. Someday, the developers might realize that all people are really looking for is an updated version of Modern Warfare. Activision insults us by forcing these horrible maps on us with the release and then tries to sell us the 'good' maps in a DLC.

    Broken multiplayer

    Posted
    badradio

Campaign is the usual story of saving the world. Difficulty is turned down this time. The real issue is the broken MP. Who did the level design?!?! Comparing good mp maps in COD 4 vs.Ghosts is sad. The devs for Ghosts seems to incorporate higher areas to go and also increase the size of the maps, along with a utterly broken and infuriating respawn system that is still broken from MW3. Since the levels are bigger and more places to hide from higher areas, players just camp. It's pathetic. In the original Modern warfare, there were also areas elevated, but only here and there. Clear left and right areas. Now, like in the freefall map (which has a horrid color palette), you spawn and immediately die because you are in wide open areas. The developers need to go back and see what really made the first modern warfare game so fun. What a disappointment. Selling this game.
