    Bad Customer Service

The game is great. Best Buy Customer Service is lacking! I haven't got a reply from them in regard to this email or phone call. Hello my name is Xxxxxx. I am writing about a small issue that seems very simple to solve. I am a avid Best Buy supporter and purchase all my electronics and even most of my home appliances through your store. I shop with you for several reasons but the main is the competitive pricing. Recently I purchased a copy of the popular game, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. In fact, this is the 3rd copy I have purchased from your company. Here’s the reason I am contacting you today. I have the Game’s Club Unlocked, a service that I paid for. Having that gives me a discount on newly purchased games. When I bought the recent copy of COD, I paid $47.99 + tax for it under the Gamer’s Club program. That was on the 11th of December. Today its on Bestbuy.com for $43.99. The difference isn’t much and $4 isn’t going to break me. However, I followed the rules and called into the 1-888-Bestbuy. The person on the phone was nice and not rude in any way. However, what they stated was that even though the game is at a lower price, I was not allowed or authorized the price match because I already received a discount below what is offered on the website because I am a Club Member. She explained that if I wanted the discount I was free to return the game and then repurchase it at the lower price. This really makes no sense to me. I am authorized the lower price, I just bought the game on the wrong day? To me it seems like the lady on the line and her supervisor couldn’t figure out how to resolve it. They could see my order and know that I purchased the game and the price is now lower. To wrap it up, It seems that having the gamer’s club is a benefit which I pay for, but its also used against me in the price match area as I have to return an item and then repurchase it to get resolve. This email and the phone call are a huge waste of time, but the principle is worth trying to get a answer. Thanks for your time. Another solid entry for the CoD franchise

First off, I enjoyed the campaign more than I expected I would. For me, a good story is as important as good gameplay even in a FPS. Lately I think the franchise has suffered in this department, never quite living up to the rich story line of the Modern Warfare trilogy. Infinite Warfare was (for me) no exception to this. The story was not the best but it was better than the story in Advanced Warfare. (IMHO). The gameplay was solid and the locations for many of the missions were very cool and well thought out. The addition of dog-fighting in space and zero G combat missions was also very cool. Personally I shy away from the massive online multiplayer. Lag, cheaters and those who are frankly superior to me in reflexes make that sort of game not particularly fun to me. Just running around shooting without the context of a great story doesn't have much appeal to me unless of course you are shooting zombies. I was going to give this game five stars but like many others I have talked to, I suffer from a game glitch that doesn't seem to have a practical work around. When you install the game off the disc but have to get updates online and you use a wireless network connection, there is a widespread "glitch" that prevents the Zombie module from loading. Like others, I have questioned Infinity Ward and Microsoft about this issue but never got a response. In fairness I have not hovered over the pages waiting for someone to have a solution but I throw it out there. To close out, the game play is the same first rate weapon/movement/action mechanics I have come to expect from CoD and Infinity Ward and while the story is not the best in their catalogue it is nowhere near the worst. I think most will enjoy this title a lot.

Mixed Feelings-The End of an Era for a Great Serie

The End of an Era for a Great Series...I would like to have given great reviews for Infinite Warfare but unfortunately, I cannot, since the only real purpose of purchasing said game is for the extended game play value of the multiplayer mode. What a disaster. I will say that I am truly disappointed with the "futuristic" gameplay. It is no longer Call of Duty. if they wanted to go in this direction they should have created a whole new line of games directed away from the epic name and reputation of a true Call of Duty game. The reason for the 3 stars are as follows: the story line and the gameplay of the main campaign is strong and quite entertaining. However, again it is more along the lines of a Halo meets Mass Effect and does not truly capture the Call of Duty games that I once so enjoyed. If they began a new franchise with this style of script/story writing and gameplay, underneath a new title, perhaps they would be able to create a new following of players who are more situated to this style. As it stands, they are losing the majority of fans, who in part, help created one of the greatest franchises in gaming history. It is almost as though Infinity Ward knew they were going to fail in gamer approval so to bolster sales they attached a classic, the Modern Warfare Remastered. This was an ingenious move as I did not purchase the previous COD and only purchased this COD merely for the MWR. I hope that the game makers are seeing that the only reason this game sold in majority was specifically for the MWR and they begin to reevaluate the direction of the COD franchise. Will throw in that this Zombies feature is the best and most entertaining Zombies yet.

Not being a big fan of the direction Call of duty has turned with the multiplayer the past few games they released. Due to it feeling less like Call of duty and more like Titanfall/Halo combined style multiplayer. I've kinda veered away from COD multiplayer lately, well until this game. The Infinite campaign was extremely good. The story was one of the best stories yet in the series. But I'm still not a fan of the new style multiplayer. However you also get Call of Duty Modern Warfare remastered. So for myself this is the best release COD has released on the XboxOne/PS4. Nothing like going back down memory lane on Modern Warfare playing countless hours of multiplayer again. I highly recommend purchasing this copy that has both games on it. So you can enjoy both great campaigns plus Modern Warfare multiplayer. But if you enjoy the new style multiplayer as well, then this will really be the game to get. Honestly I would have bought it for the remastered Modern Warfare only. But the campaign on Infinite being so good, it really made this a must have game to play. I actually own over 6000 video games and play games 7 days a week. So for this to get my attention enough to write this review they must have done more than a few things right this time. I hope they continue to add a classic with the new games if they are going to continue with this style multiplayer. I really think it would bring many of the original fans back that made them what they are today. Hope this review helps and you enjoy this game as much as I have.

I am not going to start off by saying I dislike this because it is futuristic or because of the boots not being on the ground thing. I actually love Black Ops 3 but this is just a pathetic downgrade from that. Everything about this game is poor compared to BO3. I don't know what they were thinking releasing this game how it is because it just doesn't seem polished whatsoever. Modern Warfare is just WOW This game was a blast to play through the campaign. I could barely stop playing it was so well put together and just a great experience. Overall I would gladly have just got this game separately but they knew everyone would most likely end up doing that anyway. I will never buy any COD made by these guys again. This game would have seemed good if it released after AW and before BO3 but right now my copy is currently on EBAY as I try and get my money back from this game.

If you're a fan of the Call of Duty series, you'll enjoy this game. The campaign mode is pretty much the same as its been since the first CoD (with different weapons). The NPCs that assist you aren't very much help and sometimes just get in the way. The anti-gravity levels are pretty cool effects-wise. And you do get to pilot a ship to break up the monotony of just making your way to a choke point before you have to defend your position. I think I only bought this game because of the cameo by Lewis Hamilton and it came with Modern Warefare. I was a little disappointed with the multiplayer. Although I'm not as sharp as I used to be, there was just something about the way this game feels that I didn't like. Maybe it's in part from the futuristic weaponry and the wall running that that I think takes something away from the way the wonderful Modern Warfares played. The graphics look a little cartoony and the robot skins kinda look stupid. I know it's "infinite" warfare and it's set in the future but I just didn't like the feel/feedback from the weapons I tried out. Overall, I would give the game a 3.5/5, but no half points are allowed.

I find myself playing Modern Warfare remastered more than I do Infinite warfare. The consensus among those long time COD fans is that we are sick of the wall jumping and flying 30 feet into the air. Bring us back to the roots of the game with awesome well thought out maps, better consistency with shooting through objects (i can't shoot through a mattress but I can shoot through a steel car or a bus?), better taunts, better kill streaks, be able to climb/fly onto more objects. Infinite warfare made upgrading weapons way to confusing and choosing 1 of 4 teams to unlock weapons i.e. orion, etc... Just a poorly made game overall and the aiming on the game is awful. My gun pulls away from the enemy constantly but that doesn't happen in modern warfare or any of the other COD's (i've tried it with aim assist on and off, same result). For the young kids i'm sure the Halo like gameplay is what they want and obviously what the creators of the game are gearing this towards, but you are losing fans. The fans that made this game as popular as it is and grow into what it has become. Start making them happy.

The game is really two different games. The infinite warfare is a major disappointment. The multiplayer feels like a cheap rip off of titanfall 2. The movement is choppy even with the best of internet connections. The reason I found is that there are no private servers for the game. It is per to per so if they have a slow connection the game play suffers. Too offen I find myself dealing with choppy movement and it has made the game unplayable for me. Modern warfare remastered was don but it quickly wore off. The color of the game seems off as well. The other players blend into the backgrounds and I'm often killed by another player that was clearly I front of me. Overall I have already traded the game in. Titanfall 2 and battlefield are so much better and they are all I will play. Also. I understand why the only way to get remastered modernware fare is to get this bundle. They knew the game was bad. Just look at the constant discounts on the stand alone version. The bundle like this one is now constantly on sale too.

A lot of folks are complaining about BO3 comparison, when in fact they are 2 different games, with 2 different storylines. I personally love the long storyline, with lots of maps. If you miss longer games with lots of maps, this is your game. You are a pilot at many different times, space walking, on the ground shooting, anti-gravity, gravity, shocker, and tons of other cool toys. A great cyborg that actually quite funny at times and incredible game play. If you hate paying for more maps, or nice gear, then grab this game. The Modern Warfare, Redux edition is incredible and I'm sure you already know how great it is, but its digitally remastered and the graphics are way better...BUY IT

Mediocre Gameplay with Zombies Slightly Saving it

Let me first say, I don't play campaign or story modes until I get bored. Having said that, I have yet to touch story because I'm still playing multiplayer rarely, more so playing zombies. Multiplayer is nothing special or innovative; point, shoot, tell at the TV when you die, repeat. Nothing really stands out as a modification from the last exoskeleton based shooter. Zombies is the only saving grace for this game. The guns have been dumbed down to be less effective and is infuriating at times. The zombies are also stronger and quicker but neither player nor zombie has exoskeleton, a plus in my opinion. Each game oils about 30-60 minutes so it's a nice way to waste time. If I'm being honest, the only reason I bought this game was for the Remastered MW1 that came with it. However, they added some new content into that game that is slightly annoying as well. If it weren't for Zombies and MW1, this game would receive 0 stars

    Frustrating Multiplayer

First, i'll start by saying i mostly just play multiplayer in every COD game I've owned and will only review that aspect of this game. Very poor game-play and too much like Halo. It has taken all the annoying aspects of previous games and combined it. Sliding, walking on walls, and dying by 2 bullets. The game has focused more on the maps and scenery than the actual game play. Believe me when i say you won't enjoy playing multiplayer and not even for a second. Black Ops 3 to me was actually awesome and it is so unfortunate this takes a step backwards. If it wasn't for the MW Remastered i would be returning this right now! Honestly i don't recommend this game but try for yourself and make your own judgement.

Infinity Ward's latest Call of Duty entry is a middling experience at best. The single player campaign is solid and the spaceship combat sections are a nice change of pace from the standard corridor shooter approach CoD generally takes. Zombies is quirky but pretty much what we've come to expect from the mode so if you didn't like it before, you won't like it now. And the multiplayer continues its nose dive, following in the footsteps of last year's Black Ops III. The Legacy Edition does offer the chance to play one of, if not the, best CoD campaigns and multiplayer experiences in the series but it also runs you a premium price. If 2016 had been a weaker year for shooters than maybe Infinite Warfare becomes an easy recommend but when games like Overwatch, DOOM, Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4, and Titanfall 2 are available and all do aspects better than CoD does, it makes it a hard recommend.

Infinite Warfare does have a great single player Campaign with many missions, side missions and even a pretty decent/free VR level. Theres also a difficulty that unlocks that makes the single players more realistic by making you find a new helmet when shot in the face, effect movement and aiming depending where your shot at which makes for an interesting time. Multiplayer however is a giant twitch fest. People running on walls, jumping 10 feet in air and just overall chaos. Maps have horrible layouts, spawns are all over the place, Killstreaks are OP as ever. Just stay away. Zombies I cant say much about because I personally never played it on Infinite. I hear its quite good however. MW4 is back and great. You get the single players with it but what everyone mainly wanted was the Multiplayer. Ot launches with 10 maps but dont worry, the rest of the maps will be included as FREE DLC.

I've been an avid COD player sine MW2. I started playing just campaign in COD 4 then added playing multiplayer in MW2 and only play multiplayer since advanced warfare. Point being, I know COD. While I personally love the faster paced games with advanced movement. I have over 3 weeks of playing time on BO3. There is something about this game that doesn't keep me playing like I usually do. The maps look great but play poorly. Their size is difficult to go on long streaks. Plus most of the streaks are lame. Team balance is uneven. For a game Infinity Ward had 3 years to make, where are the leader boards, ping meter, ability to know who is in a party, or ability to mute all while in game or lobby? These were in past games but not this one. That's a shame & unacceptable. If you love COD pick it up, one sale, it know that you probably aren't going to like this as much as others

The campaign is exactly what you would expect from a Call of Duty game and it delivers on all counts. The graphics are great on the XBOX ONE but had some screen tearing in certain areas but otherwise were very good in most of the game. The action in the beginning has a cut scene in outer space but there are also parts that take place on Earth and other planets which breaks up the gameplay nicely and introduces new tactics. The battles can either be on land or in space including the piloting of a spacecraft against enemy forces or other spacecraft. I can't speak for the co-op or multiplayer options since I have not used them at this time. The Modern Warfare Remastered game that is included as a download is excellent which looks and plays better than the original which I had played quite a number of times in the past when it was a new release.

I have been a Call of Duty fan for the last 10 years, when I purchased CoD 3 for the PS2. From WWII to now, a space adventure, each year CoD has been fun to play. The campaign this year is awesome, between the jackal strikes and the intriguing story line. The MP threw me off a bit, and this year's specialists are not as good as the ones from BO3. Yet, this is made up for with more customization to weapons than before, including Prototype weapons, which remind me of weapons from Destiny. Then, finally, Zombies in Spaceland. The setting of zombies in the '80s with David Hasselhoff as DJ makes the zombies mode even better than before. In addition, the park allows for varying types of interaction between rides that crush the zombies to pieces to a rollercoaster that you can ride while destroying killer clowns. Yes, killer clowns. In all, its CoD in space.

I was hoping for the best when buying this game. I loved Modern Warfare 1 so I was extremely excited about this bundle. I am a multiplayer gamer on COD so I couldn't wait to get started. Unfortunately, for me this game is basically unplayable. There is some kind of lag compensation algorithm in place that basically tries to make the game an even playing field but I find it to mess up the overall flow of the game and the ability to win one on one fights with opponents. Only Infiinity Ward games seem to give me this issue and figured they would fix the problem but never have. For some of you it may be great but for myself and many others that I've seen online it is not fun at all. I will be trading it in for another title. Thank goodness I have Titanfall 2. It actually has a fun campaign and very good multiplayer experience.

When this game first announced I thought it was going to be garbage and definitely said I wouldn't buy it. A few months later I had talked myself into getting it just for the modern warfare remaster. Now that it's been out a few weeks I have put battlefield away, and put plenty of hours into this. The modern warfare remaster is good, but doesn't seem as smooth as it used to but still fun to play. The zombies mode is really fun. The multiplayer for the main game is really good in my opinion, while the futuristic warfare still feels a little like halo they seemed to have built maps that still keep the game fun and not so much "jump as high as you can and camp on the highest point". The movement is more of just a faster better way to get around. The gameplay is extra smooth and plays the same way COD regulars expect.

First off, this game has been one that has been ridiculed for the past few months over nothing in my opinion. Call of Duty has had it's ups and downs and I believe that this game is a plus. It is definitely a game for the Call of Duty fan and the open minded gamer. Also good for the person whom owns a console, and just plays in their free time. Call of Duty is great as it has always been a game that is easy to pick up, play, and have a decent amount of fun. This "Legacy Edition" is nice too as of course it comes with a remastered version of the classic "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." One of the franchise's best games makes a comeback in a big way. What is not to love about this brilliant bundle? So, if you are ready to have fun with two great Call of Duty games that are totally different, then pick this up!

I've played COD multiplayer since modern warfare so I have alot of experience with COD games. This game is better than Ghosts and AW but I don't find myself wanting to play as often as previous versions. I think COD in general is becoming stale and repetitive. I'm not a fan of the supply drops or COD points, I don't want the franchise to become a pay to win type of game. The advanced movement and weapons are ok but I prefer the older gritty style of warfare. MWR is definitely worth checking out especially if you played the original version. They have done a really good job updating the old maps and weapons. Sparks up nostalgia of the early days when I first started playing COD but now I do the wrecking :) The reduction in price doesn't hurt either, basically getting 2 games for the price of 1 now.
