The Canon printer is about 1 yr old & I am still using the "starter" cartridges. But I have a set of replacements now, ready to minimize shutdowns.

Do NOT be fooled into using a cheap knockoff- yes it’s more expensive for the cannon ink but it’s not worth hurting your laser printer for a few bucks saved!
