The Canon PG-210 XL is a great item for the price. I am usually able to print up to 200 pages per cartridge (i.e. 1-2 packs of standard size printing paper). The discount on Wednesday is another bonus and the price-matching at Best Buy is phenomenal if the item is on sale elsewhere. I always get a great deal on this item. I find myself buying this item 3 times per year, but then again, I have a printing privileges outside of the home. If you are someone who uses this for everyday printing, the results may vary. I use this cartridge mostly on Fast Draft, then change the setting to Standard for more important, professional submissions. This is way better that the regular-sized cartridges because I don't have to buy replacements as frequently with the "XL" version. You won't be disappointed.

I am cheap. I do not like spending money, especially on ink for a printer; but between my job, my other job and my other job, I have to do a lot of printing, so I often need to replace the ol' ink cartridge. Every time I run out I check online through a variety of sources (Amazon, B & H Photo, etc.) and Best Buy always ends up having the best price for this cartridge. I always buy the XL, as it is the better deal and it means I don't need to replace it as often. I get hundreds of full page print-outs from the cartridge and only a few are a little spotty right before it needs to be changed. In other words, I don't think a lot of ink goes wasted. I have yet to have one dry out on me, either. I have probably replaced the cartridge on my Canon printer/scanner half a dozen times and have never had a problem.

I was advised one day at the counter, that Best Buy offers a lower price for a bundle purchase of cartridge ink. Best Buy also gives rewards after a certain amount of purchases. That is one of the reasons I continued to buy from Best Buy. Before I found out, I did hesitate because my sister shops at Staples and gets supplements for returning empty ink cartridges as well as sale prices. It was recommended by Best Buy salesman to get the XL cartridge and your ad says that this 210 XL cartridge yields up to 401 crisply printed pages. I do appreciate getting more copies per cartridge and would also recommend having your printer set to using less ink as well. Mine can use 15% less ink with each printing.

XL is better than the other compatible cartridge

My kids are both in high school, in the IB program. They always have projects and reports to print out. The XL version has more ink. Yes, it's pricier but if you buy it on Wednesdays at BestBuy.com, you get the ink and toner discount. I have also used my rewards certificates. There are also times when shipping is free. To save money, I have tried refilling it, but the printer doesn't sense that it's a "new" or "full" ink cartridge and an error message kept showing up. Also, the ink tended to skip or smear, so you ended up cleaning the print heads, reprinting your paper, wasting more ink.

XL cost$ more but lasts twice as long

I was wondering why the XL costs more than the non XL printer cartridge (which isn't carried/was out of stock anyway) and the sales tech guy told me that the XL cartridges last twice as long. I was happy to learn that but found it peculiar that Canon does not label them as such on the package. They do label them as "high yield" but if there are no standard/low yield cartridges in the store, the customer has no point of comparison. Not a good sales strategy Canon. Anyhow, good on the sales tech guy for sharing that info, I really appreciate it! :)

Crisp clean printing with little waste.Good Value with getting BestBuy Rewards program and 2% by using my Ibotta app at check out in the store. If you don't have the app, than I recommend you get it with my referral code vlltxmi and you will get $10 when you redeem your first rebate and I will get $5. It is a win win. I will definitely purchase again.

This lasts longer than the regular size Canon 210 black ink cartridge. So if you go through black ink cartridges much faster than color ink cartridges this is a good buy. We go through about 2 regular 210 black ink cartridges for every regular 211 color ink cartridge. However, Best Buy mixes these cartridges with the regular 210 black ink cartridges on the shelf so it may be hard to find. So when you DO find it, get it!

What can I say? Buying printer ink is not fun. But, it has to be done. I don't print as often as I used to, but I still do print at times. This toner cartridge is super easy to install, and the print quality is fine. No cartridge ever lasts as long - or is as inexpensive - as I would like, but I probably have unrealistic (old-fashioned) expectations. I have purchased cheaper "generic" versions in the past, but the actual Canon replacement cartridges do appear to last longer. Stick with the real thing.

I found this because my mom's printer takes this black ink cartridge and supposedly this one holds more ink than the regular one as stated by the XL in the model number. I don't know if I will actually yield 401 pages and there are probably stipulations on how to get 401 pages (results may vary if you are printing on light ink and quick speed or printing photos). However, I can't really complain if it is able to allow my printer to print good quality pages as it has. I used this in a Canon Pixma MP240. It is very easy to install.

Though the tablet itself and the initial Best Buy support staff are very good, the Samsung reps, both in Cumming, and especially in Jacksonville, were way below par. In the case of Cumming, she was very condescending and intimidating and in the case of the Jacksonville rep, she was highly unprofessional, both in dress and actions(boyfriend sitting at the table was her prime focus). Best Buy needs to ensure that the same level of service extends to the vendor reps they bring in store(a secret shopper might be a good test)

Been using my Canon printer for years, and I have only used original Canon replacement cartridges. This particular one is and XL, which contains a lot more ink than the regular cartridges. I have always gotten a consistent amount of printing from each one. I have in the past used HP cartridges, but I have never really been happy with them. The XL is the way to go if you need to print more than the average amount of pages. A good bang for the buck. This is a winner.

I always know what I'm getting when I buy Canon - 210XL High-Yield Ink Cartridges. I've tried purchasing refills from other wholesale stores for less, but I'm always disappointed. I think they even hinder the results of the printing and it takes a long time to get things back to normal. So now I just stick with Canon ink for my Canon printer. I can depend on great quality and dependability. Easy to install and no mess or fuss.

I print a lot - mainly in black and white. Its the only way I can confidently edit my work is by printing docs out. I tried to go the cheap way and purchase those recycled ink cartridges, but they are not worth the time or hassle (for my particular printer). By far, I think Best Buy offers the most reasonable price on the cartridges!

As is typical for many printers, I bought my Canon printer for almost nothing. However, I knew that I would spend a lot more for the ink, and this situation is no different. The ink is $25 a pop, and it lasts our family less than three months, even when the printer is on draft or fastest setting. This performance is no better or worse than our other printers, which is why I gave the overall rating of average.

I went to buy ink and was asked if I needed help, I did, and she very politely pointed out the ink for me. I am recovering from surgery and walk slow and on the way to the register she was very respectful and walked slowly along with me and explained the rewards program and signed me up and I saved $$$. Thank you for being so courteous and attentive.Looking forward to continued savings with 'My Best Buy'.

say relatively because ink cartridges are always overpriced. Having said that, this is the cheapest way to get genuine OEM ink for your Canon printer. First, the XL cartriges are the cheapest per mL of ink. Second, it's actually slightly cheaper to buy them both in this bundle, and the paper is essentially thrown in for free. So, unless you only need one cartridge or the other, this is a no-brainer.

My experience with Canon printers has not been good. Though I don't print much, I always find myself having to replace expensive cartridges, and for some reason the color ones are always running out even when I consistently specify grayscale printing. That being said, this printer's black cartridges seem to last longer than I would have expected. That's the closest I can get to saying anything nice.

Well, there's not much to say here, except that I've never had a problem with this part#. The black ink color is as it should be, Black.. And I'm glad I buy from BestBuy.com, no hassle, received my item fast without a problem.. (: My printer is the Canon MX340, I do think this printer uses up the black ink a bit fast, but then again, most everything we print involves black ink..lol
