It's been my experience that Canon ink lasts longer than HP or Epson - I've had both of those type printers before I bought my Canon Pixma. It's a little annoying that the multipack doesn't include this one and you have to buy it separately.

In some Canon models, the printer won't print if one cartridge is out, but that's a function of the printer, not the ink. Never had issues with Canon-brand ink cartridges themselves.

this is the basic ink i use foe all print jobs and projects, I cant say about photo prints but if you use it for them it should be a good quality image, it is a good quality ink

Love my MG6200, does everything I need it to and then some. One of the best ink jet all in ones I have had. Ink goes kind of fast but quality remains until the last drop!

If you need quality ink for printing then you should buy the real stuff. I needed to print place cards and address stickers for my wedding and our cheap stuff didn't work well. Bought the canon ink and it worked great.

Canon ink is very reliable -- trouble-free. Only problem with this and printers of other brands is that they use ink very quickly and it's expensive!

If you use a Canon printer, then use Canon ink. You will not have to worry about the quality of the ink and your print results will look like they are supposed to.

I have had my Cannon printer for approx 5 years now. The ink cartridges do not cost me an arm and a leg as with other printers and do not seem to run out as quickly.

Actually I've tried many third party refills and even though the factory cartridge cost a bit more, they last longer and print on photo paper much better.

These cartridges are really easy to install in the printer. I just take off the label, click them in and that's it. Never have I had a problem with these.

The PIXMA printer series and this ink have consistently performed well and been very reliable over the years, no problems with this ink -- great job Canon!

This ink cartridge provides more than adequate ink for my requirements. Very easy to change cartridges and no "test" print as with other printer brands.

This Canon - 226 Ink Cartridge - Black is great but had to mention WalMart could give it to me cheaper so Best Buy competed with the WalMart price.

canon has some separate ink tanks for color/photo printing. costs more to replace all of them but they also last longer than competition. nice photo quality without spending more money on ink

this product is the same price as the manufacturers or less and can be paid with paypal which helps. the quality is the same as from the manufacturers.

I switched to Canon products from HP a few years ago and haven't looked back. The cartridges last longer and the print quality is much better!

You can always get the cheap refills and hope they work or last as long. In my experience the real stuff always works best and lasts longer.

Cannon ink cartridges are expensive, but they are the only ones that fit my printer. The cheap ones you order online don't seem to work.

Works great, easy to install and quality ink. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Great ink cartridge with no mess. I had no problem removing the used cartridge from my copier and installing this one was just as easy.
