    Good for about two weeks if you don't use them often, the longer they sit the more they dry out until they aren't any good at all anymore though you haven't used all the ink.

    I recently purchased Canon 240XL for my MG2120 Printer. These cartridges are great because of their quality and longevity. They last so much longer than the other brands, and you only need 2 cartridges. I've printed pictures with GREAT quality, along with greeting cards and still had plenty of ink left. I would recommend this brand to everyone!

    I have had Canon Printers for several years and find that their ink cartridges are of very high quality. I teach at a University and print a great deal of material for my classes. The cartridges seem to last for ever and it is more economical to use rather than having copies made at a copy center.

    I have a wireless Canon printer that uses the 240 black inks. I purchased the XL and it lasts for months and months. I do have my printer set to 'fast' quality, so it uses less ink but it looks just as good. Previous printers I had cost more for their ink and didn't last half as long as these do. I will be a permanent customer for Canon printers and ink.
