And so I buy the 5-pack to try and lower the price per cartridge. I only use the Canon brand ink and I haven't had any problems for years and so perhaps it's simply the price you have to pay. It works well for sure but $50 a pop stinks and BB has the best price I could find.

Great for printing photos

The colors are vibrant, they are skin tone accurate. I've had a client use photos I've printed with this ink as table decorations for their event. It's like having a professional printing service in-house.

Dependable ink but expensive

Years ago I used to just get cheap refills at Costco but my printers would break down after a few years. A Best Buy salesperson said it was because of the cheap ink and recommended that I buy only Canon ink for my Canon printer. Well- have had the printer for years and the print quality is still very good so it’s definitely the costly ink that makes the difference! Hurts to pay the high cost but bonus not having to buy new printers every couple of years.

Good ink, a bit pricey, seems to get used fast.
