This black ink cartridge lasts a long time produces a consistent black color. It is official canon ink and you can't go wrong if you want reliable black color.

Worked exactly the way I hope it would . Even though it was 1 color out of the 4 cartridges that my printer has. Normally they all can't work without al colors

I just now loaded the ink cartridge, and so can't really say but they said that this cartridge would last longer than the one with the printer, and it was amazing

I absolutely will continue to buy the Canon brand of toner refills and Best Buy is extremely good about being in stock and having or matching the lowest price.

Gotta have the OEM cartridges as the aftermarket stuff is a coin flip. Get the XL because it is typically cheaper per page and needs to be changed less often.

This is the right product to use. The XL size lasts longer and is more economical than regular size. Easy to remove and replace. Clean colors and sharp print.

Good black ink! Not too expensive and lasts a while. Works great with my canon printer for school. I use it all the time and its a solid black color. It does come out a little lighter 5hen I would like but that could be my printer perhaps

Welcome to the printer market. Ink is spendy and there's no cutting corners for me. Canon has been, for me, the best performance printer product line.

Official product for use with applicable Canon Printers. The depth of the color is excellent. If you are unsure how to install, there are lights which come on when they are installed correctly. Good product with a good name.

I have purchased this ink since I bought my printer. There is a large a supply of ink for lots of printing. It is a fast drying, smudge proof ink.

This ink is definetly an upgrade for me. It lasts longer and has a great price attached with it. It's much better not spending 50 on one ink cartridge!

I have found that the manufacturers inks as always, by far, are the best to put in your printer. Canon ink is bright, bold, and very colorful.

I switched to Canon products from HP a few years ago and haven't looked back. The cartridges last longer and the print quality is much better!

Cartridge is fine but take note it is an"XL" meaning it has a higher ink content. If you use a lot of black ink then I reccomend the XL type cartidge. The regular non-XL type will run out on you much too fast.

I was required to buy this since it wasn't included with the other package. High yield was the way to go to maximize cost effectiveness

I previously purchased the regular tank and it didn't last very long. The XL lasts at least three times longer and only costs 2x more.

This ink is probably fine just not what I needed at the time. I should have purchased the 250 vice 251, as I need ink for black and white documents. Not for graphics. Should have paid better attention...

Love using the XL Tanks for the Canon Printer. It helps me to stay focused on my projects longer, and making less trips to get more ink.

The color seemed to be right on point. I recommend the XL as it does not need to be replaced as often. For an average home user.
