    I always buy the XL cartridges. Ink is very expensive but they last longer than the regular size. I get great results with canon ink.

    Nobody likes paying for printer cartridges. We tried going with some cheaper 3rd-party ones for our Canon printer and while it seemed to work fine for a while, eventually we started having problems with some of the colors not printing all the time. Switched back to the OEM versions, ran a cleaning cycle, and things were as good as new. You get what you pay for I guess, so I say just go with the OEM option.

    When all the color cartridges run this is a great product to have on hand. By having all three colors it saves a little bit of money.

    Canon inks smear less that other ink jets ink. The cartridges have their own LED to indicate when the tank is empty. It makes finding the empty tank a no brainer.

    OEM cartridges are the only way to go. Recycle your cartridges and save on the back end.
