I love the double battery pack and the grip for taking portrait-orientation photos... that should make certain events much less awkward. However, the ergonomics are a little weird... the duplicated buttons are slightly off-configuration from the main camera and I feel like the grip is way high compared to where the lens is held. Still, it's a great tool... but a bit overpriced, realistically.

This is a great grip. Makes the R5 and R6 feel pretty much perfect. I really love that there is a spot to put the battery door so you don't have to put it somewhere when the grip is on and hope you dont lose it.

Grip works great and never had any issues with it except the one time I absolutely needed it not to fail. Missed the entrance to a surprise birthday party because my camera just went black. Had to open battery door and close it and then it worked fine again but the moment had already passed. Luckily my assistant grabbed some cell pics but not ideal.

I love my R6 but the ergonomics were always just a bit off. This fixes it but giving my pinky somewhere to rest in landscape orientation and makes portrait orientation so much more comfortable l. Wish it was cheaper but if you shoot seriously it’s a must have

Works great like it should. Quality Canon product. Only problem is I received an Australian model and not a US model. The added grip and shutter button is a nice addition to my camera body.

Having owned several prosumer Canons, the vertical grips that they make work well. This newest version has additional pins in addition to the threaded tripod mount for a more secure grip/hold to the camera body. Aside from that, works just as intended.
