If you're going take photos all day you need it some like it..

Makes the camera easier to shoot for portraits. Does make it heavier

This grip only works with 6D models, look elsewhere if you have a different body. Seems to be a BestBuy exclusive or something, can't seem to find this exact model on the Canon site.

I love having two batteries, it’s slready saved me on a trip we took. The grip feels much like the camera body and same buttons too. It’s a great addition to my camera

First one was dead out of box. Second one worked well. Adds a lot of weight and size. For all these reasons I gave 4 instead of 5 stars

Not an item I would've bought myself, having small hands and weight being an issue. There was a promotion to receive the battery grip free with the camera purchase, so will try it and see. Nice way to try it!

This battery grip works great, but I underestimated how long a single battery would last. The usefulness of having 2 batteries installed at one time is lost on me. This is not a fault of the grip though.

Be advised you need to purchase an extra battery for this. It does not come with a backup. But since I've used it with a spare that I purchased the following day I love not having to worry about charging a spare or losing a charge. The grip holds two batteries and inserts itself into your current battery slot. The wheel tightens itself to the mount on the bottom of your camera and boom youre ready to go.

This thing is simply amazing! Not only is it a grip, but it has extra buttons for you to navigate a few items on yout camera.

This battery grip came bundled with the Canon EOS 6D Mark II that I recently purchased. It works well but does add a bit of weight to an already heavy camera. It’s a nice accessory, but if it had not been included with the camera at no additional cost, I’m not sure I would have purchased it separately regardless of the price.

My batteries were always running low at the worst times on my 6D Mark ii.. This has help with that problem even though its adds quit a bit of weight to the camera..

Nice and sturdy battery grip. I didn’t realize it used two batteries so I still need to purchase a second to be able to use it

Excellent purchase to go with my camera! Will need to purchase an extra battery though. But highly recommend.
