I absolutely love this lens! It is extremely sharp. Works great for landscape photography but I also use it for places where I don't have the ability to back away from my subject, especially when photographing groups in a tight space. There is distortion at the edges, but I'm aware never to put my subject close to them. Totally recommend, and having the 2.8 aperture is really good at low light.

Another great lens from Canon – interior – landscapes. I have been looking for a wide angle lens, did a lot of research before purchasing. Week after I received the lens took a trip to NYC, used this lens every day on my 5DMKIV. Lens performed excellent, the angle of view is great, image quality is excellent, just received a couple prints 30x40 and they are excellent . Looking forward to using this lens night sky photography.

I purchased this lens for some ranch and landscape photography, as well as for capturing some creative portraiture images. I am excited to use this next spring at some events! Shipped quickly and arrived well packaged from Best Buy.

Solid build quality, fast focus, tack sharp. No IS not an issue for me as I mostly use on a tripod. Love it for night sky/landscape work. Pretty expensive though for comparable lenses.

I had been wanting this lens for quite some time and was always on the wall because of its hefty price. Finally pulled the trigger and I am so happy I did. It takes incredible pictures.

Essentially perfect except no IS. Works perfectly, wish it had IS for some scenarios I've run into, but other than that it is a perfect lens.

If you are into landscape photography or ancient architecture building a wide lens is the way to go. Don't be talked into substituting a 24-70 mm lens for an 16-35 mm. The difference are huge. Sorry i can't load an example, to large.

We just took our first trip to the Grand Canyon and my wife used this lens. We got some amazing shots. Really happy with it. Once she edits some of the shots in Aperture I'll upload to this review.

I would say that this is easily one of the first lenses you should splurge on once you start upgrading your kit. Great for landscapes and vlogging. Great for B-Roll. Pretty great in most scenarios.
