    I took pictures of a special occasion. The 50 mm took fabulous and crisp pictures of faces. The 17-40 mm lens also took great pics without flash. Able to get groups of people in.

    I was looking for a good way to upgrade lenses and found this. Buying them individually add la 200 to the price this way works out better both lenses are good.

    These two lenses are great. I use the 50mm for portraits and its amazing, quiet, and well worth it. I have only used the other on one occasion, but so far I love it for an ultra wide angle lense.

    The 50mml lens works as a charm- I have been using low-end lenses from the camera bundle kit, and the new one improved the photograph very significantly. The other one is good for capturing sceneries and bigger objects but so far I have not been that impressed.

    I love the lenses. They are amazing. I gave 4 stars because I paid to get it early and didn't receive it on time. I could have saved the money because I got it it the day it said said without paying.

    The lenses are great, difficult to find a lens filter for the 17-40 in store. Had to order one online.

    The 50mm 1.4 is fine for long exposures of the night sky. The 17-40 f4 is alright too. Above average, but not breathtaking for everyday photography. The 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 are the workhorses in my bag but this kit fills some specialty gaps.
