Customers are saying

Customers admire the EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM Wide-Angle Lens for its exceptional bokeh effect and sharp image quality. Many reviewers rave about the lens's ability to create beautiful, creamy bokeh, while others appreciate its sharpness and ability to produce stunning photos. Despite its impressive features, some users find the lens to be a bit heavy, making it better suited for studio use rather than outdoor photography.

My wife is a very talented photographer and accompanies this lense with a Canon 5D MK II. She has a few other lenses and wanted another one for candid/moment photos of our family and such. She even rented this lense and a 50mm and decided on this one and she takes some fantastic photos.

Love this lens. I use it with both my Canon 5dsr and 5Div. It is incredible with clarity I have rarely seen. Love it.

I am going to keep this short and sweet this is an excellent lens with great sharpness, color, contrast etc. Yes the lens is bigger than version one, yes the lens is heavier than version one but honestly I love the way it handles and feels in the hand. There is some vignetting but I actually like it for certain shots and it can be removed EASILY if not wanted. This is definitely for the professional. I do think it is a little bit expensive but quality cost sometimes and the quality is top notch. A big thumbs up.

Very very Nice Lense High Resolution, Clear Picture, Nice AF, Nice Color setting - Bit red-like type color setting, Nice for Human pic or snap shot PROBLEMS Bit Heavy - better in studio than outside Vignetting problems - when F value is low expansive - sigma 35mm F1.4 ART is 1/2 price.
