I have been a Canon 7D owner for 3 years and I went in to buy the 5D Mark III, and my very well informed salesperson Andie recommended this lense. At first I thought it was just a sales pitch, but for the price, and for what it does....You can't loose!!! Awesome...

Besides the 50mm being at a good price. This is a good lens for the price. I love how wide you can get an imagine with this lens.

This is a wonderful little lens. It's low-profile and light, so it's great for when you don't want to lug around a big heavy lens. The pictures it produces look wonderful and I personally like the 40mm focal length. It's a great value at the price point.

I love this lens so much! I sold my 50mm and started using this alongside my 24mm prime, and my 70-200 2.8. As a sports and portrait photographer, It’s perfect for photoshoots, and even action shots within range. I love it.

I use this lens on adapted on my Sony A7iii with a meta bones mc-11. What an awesome little combo. Pictures look amazing, it is small enough to fit into my pocket. And all the autofocus features work with it too! Dont even think, just go ahead and buy it

Bought this lens for its small size and great reviews. I'm not disappointed. Takes sharp photos and has a wide enough angle to get great indoor shots. Great lens for a lot of situations.

I feel that the lens was a great price. I also think that this item would be a great added bonus to your camera. If your serious about pics you need to have more lenses to capture the best moments. I have had the lens only a month and can not wait until spring where it can be used more

I had the 50mm 2.8 and dropped it so I had to have a replacement. This is by far a much more versatile lense than the 50mm. It's about the same quality as the 50mm and works great with video, even on my 60d.
