Bought these lenses for my trip to Italy. The wide angle was perfect to capture the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum, and the Pantheon perfectly each in it's own frame. If you zoomed out all the way there was a bit of a sphering effect, but I never had to zoom out that far to get the shot I wanted. The standard lenses was great for taking crisp portraits with blurry backgrounds. After I bought the lenses, it went on sale for $50 off, and I was able to get the price adjusted. Score!

These are great lenses, I bought them for my Ozark trip. They are good for up close pictures, and the wide angle lens I used for portrait look.

10-18mm IS : If you love shooting landscapes and travel a lot this lens is a must buy. Its sharp and the STM and IS are a nice bonus for the price. The 50mm STM lens is well built compared to the previous version and is sharp wide open. Tiny little low light beast.

After doing lots of review for my Canon camera, I kept finding that I need a nice wide angle lens that doesn't fish-eye, and a good macro lens for doing stills. This combo was perfect. Especially love the Ultra-wide for capturing beautiful landscapes when I travel to western states in the US.

Great price but you get what you pay for. I don't mind the cheap body of the two lenses but I think the glass could have been a little better. The 10-18mm has to much distortion, un able to correct in post editing. Would have come out better just buying the 50mm by itself and spending a little extra for a better wide angle lens.

You can't beat the deal you get here. The nifty fifty is a must for photography or video. And to get the wide angle thrown in for a huge discount is a no brainer. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I was hesitant at first but looking back I should never have hesitated.

The newest 50mm 1.4 IS STM is fantastic. It's silent, fast & fantastic bokeh. The 10-18mm is great for wide angles, especially real estate photography.

I know that there are better lenses out there. But I am just starting out and do not have the money for the high end versions. I was looking for a wide angle lens that would get the shot and not break the bank. When I found this combo pack at BB I couldn't pass it up. I will say that it was a great value. Pictures are good on the 10-18 but I have not used the 50 for more than a few pictures at a wedding. The 10-18 is great for vlogging either on a tripod or holding the camera. I wold recommend this to anyone who wants a good lens kit but wants to save even more money.

As a proud owner of the Canon 80D with the EF-S 24-135mm USM lens I was looking for something to complement my setup. The EF 50mm lens is quite sharp and incredible. The low 1.8 aperture makes for some really clean shots with a very nice bokeh. No it is not the pricier F1.4 version, but it appears just as clean in my shots. Considering it is several stops down from my zoom it really opens up as a nice portrait lens on my cropped sensor camera. The best part is that I can keep it and move up to a full frame camera in the future. Packaged with this is the humble EF-S 10-18mm Ultra Wide zoom. Low aperture in a wide angle is not a HUGE necessity, but it IS a very dark lens. Still the pictures are crisp almost to the edge and with the right lighting conditions it makes a great argument for a lower priced lens. Though both of these lenses feel a bit "cheaper" in the build than the "red ring" lenses, they are fantastic work horses that would find themselves at home in any enthusiast's bag.

I bought this kit because I wanted to have a wide angle lens. The 10-18 is an adequate wide angle for an APS-c sensor. I use it on my 7D, it is still a little soft and requires some adjustment to get the focus correct. The 50mm is actually a nice little lens and performs well. Not quite L quality but a good value lens. Overall 2 decent lenses worth the price. If you just need the 50mm you can get it alone for cheaper. There may be better wide angle options, but I will keep it.

I walked into Best Buy one evening to buy two lenses. Specifically, these two lenses! I wanted a wide angle for landscapes; and everyone who owns a DSLR should own a 50mm lens. I was excited to see this bundle; especially because it was on sale! Even if you own a cropped sensor (or APS-C) camera, the 10-18mm lens still offers a very acceptable wide angle perspective. The "nifty fifty" lens speaks for itself. It's a 'great walking' around lens to have on your camera. In my city, we have several really large summer festivals; this lens is perfect for taking portrait shots of festival visitors and friends. It provides outstanding bokeh for your portrait shots. Also, if you insist on insulting a DSLR by using it for taking selfies, the 50mm is right up your alley. (I regret offering that suggestion...) I gave this bundle four stars because the pricing doesn't save you much money at all if you purchase the lenses separately. But I got it on sale, which made this bundle a no brainer! In any event, if you're a serious photographer, these two lenses should be in your gadget bag.

I absolutely love this lens kit! I was looking for a wide angle lens for beach photos, and boy am I impressed! The 10-18mm lens is perfect for grasping the entire area, without standing a mile away. The 50mm lens is great for taking pictures of my 1 year old niece and 2 year old nephew, it's perfect for those up close and personal portraits, and great for adjusting your aperture. Overall, I would highly recommend this kit to any photographer. It's a great start to your kit, and very helpful when you're trying to get that perfect image!

These are BASIC lenses for Canon DSLR cameras - whether you are an experienced or novice photographer. I had a complete set of lenses for my previous Canon DSLR that was stolen out of my vehicle. Had saved up and bought lenses for my design/photography business. I was crushed at the theft. Finally replaced camera with a Canon EOS 70D (love it), and these 2 lenses rounded out my "must have" in camera bag. Great price for the bundle!

I was looking at getting the 10mm-18mm when a sales person told me about this bundle deal. I had planned on getting a 50mm 2.5 macro lens but once I saw this deal I figured I'd give it a shot and just get the 2.5 if I want in the future. I love this bundle as makes the 50mm more like $70 instead of $125-ish. The price is worth it and these are some pretty nice lenses too!

Purchase lens for use with my canon T6. Wide angle lens works well and provided clear images for wide photo coverage of subjects at a close distance. Perfect for large group photos. 50mm lens purchase to enhance background photo blur when taking photos of individuals. Works great to enhance subject while background is blurred. .
