Both are great lenses it's just a better deal to buy them this way if you dont already have similar lenses. I wish Best Buy had more options with lens kits.

My wife already owned this 50mm but we needed the 10-18mm lens for real estate photography. I saw her portrait images and mine using the 85mm and we both got great shots but I always had to stand so far away. So when I saw this box set with a price that made both lenses a good value, I got my 50mm and our business got a lens that works great on our crop sensor Canons.

While you can get a better lens for only $1500 more, these lenses are still fantastic. Since I'm not rich quite yet, I allowed price to influence my buying decision. Thankfully, I am not disappointed. The 50mm lens produces the richer photos, while the 10-18mm gives me what I need on my 80d crop sensor to get into tight quarters.

Bought this for my new Canon 80d and the lenses are great, especially with the bundled savings of buying them together. The 50mm lense is perfect for portait photography (gives that nice blur behind the subject) and the 10-18mm lense is wonderful for video blogging or landscape photography. Great set of lenses overall.

Love my nifty fifty and all that bokah. The wide angle is a great lens for shooting indoor real estate photos and works really well for outdoor landscapes.

This product works on my Canon EOS Rebel T6i without any problems. The portrait lens is absolutely amazing for taking up close pictures of just about anything. We mainly use it for pictures of our son. The landscape wide angle lens is nice as well. It really captures a lot extra, and the pictures are extremely clear.

I'm getting back into photography and recently purchased the Canon Rebel T6. These lenses are wonderful for the price. They are light weight, but still feel quite durable. The 50mm is my absolute favorite. It's always on my camera. Great steal. If you're considering these lenses, buy them.

I'm an amateur, but always looking to improve. After attending the Best Buy Photography class last November I decided to buy this set of lenses so I could get better pictures. So far the practice photos I have taken turned out well. I am looking forward to doing a lot more with these lenses.

The 50mm is very sharp and great for a lot of uses. The wide angle lens is much better with a polarized filter.

This lens combination has improved my (Beginner's) photography skills in great proportions. The 10 - 18 mm lens is lots of fun to use and brings a whole new world to outdoor picture taking. The 50mm portrait lens takes super sharp images giving them professional looks with little effort.

I have always wanted a nice portrait lens and a wide angle lens. These fit the bill! Although I could have purchased less expensive lenses, I prefer to purchase Canon products for my camera. IMHO, I feel the lens and body will "talk" better than a lens manufactured by someone else.

These two lenses are way better than the bundled in kit lenses. Excellent quality for the price and really expands the ability to shoot those portrait and landscapes. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is unhappy with their kit lenses and wants to upgrade!
