    The Canon - EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens - Black is one fine portrait lens. It small enough and allows you to back off and not intimidate the subject with a bigger lens. Most importantly, the optical resolution is spectacular.

    Purchased for shooting basketball and some portraits. Soft on the edges but the bokeh covers any of that when shooting wide open. Fast focus and light weight.

    Great prime lens. Bokeh on this lens is absolutely amazing. This lens is very light and quality is almost at the "L" series level. The focusing is very fast but I haven't used it in low light yet. Looking forward to adding this to my wedding bag. Absolutely worth the money.
