Amazing lens especially for portraits. Only issue I have is it's too narrow on DX cameras with crop sensor. Might want to go with 50mm f/1.8 if you have a crop sensor camera like Canon T series. Otherwise the pictures coming out are fabulous. Highly recommended.

This is a very good lens. One of my favorite lenses to use. It has very fast focusing and produces great bokeh. I used it on a crop and a full frame camera.

I got this lens first because of the price and there are fairly good reviews on it. Secondly, I needed a small yet versatile lens for daily life outings. For the purposes of staying within a budget, this lens provided me with the depth and clarity for the price.

It's a great lens if you are using a canon crop censor camera you can get some sharp headshots with this lens...on fullframe you have more depth to field and sharper images then the crop censor...but it's a all around great lens for the price

This is a great portrait lens. Better than my 50 mm lens. It is as if the images are more sharp with this lens.

I absolutely love this lens! I've been shooting portraits outdoors for five years and this is overall my favorite go to lens for sessions! I highly recommend for all new and experienced shooters. Perfect for weddings as well!

Provides low depth of field, so you get photos with that "blurry" background. Photos are crisp with my Canon D70. Lens also provides good image quality in low lighting which is essential with indoor photo shoots, low natural lighting or evening shots.

I love this lens!!! If I don't need to use zoom, this is the only lens I need! When I bought it I did think it would allow me to zoom some but it does not. But I still LOVE it!!!

Great lens especially for the price. Able to take indoor gym shots of basketball and volleyball games without having to push the ISO setting to high.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for a photographer. She is very pleased with it and has only been able to use on indoor shoots so far because of the weather. She's anxious to get it outside and start shooting with it even more.

I purchased this to do portrait photography AND action. It takes amazing action shots. The clarity of this lens is amazing. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It is now one of my go-to lenses.
