Canon 85mm

Mainly, Ive used it for portraits but am also happy with the macro ability. Great lens and is pretty clean, sharpness wise. Overall one of the first add on lenses for the serious photographer, amateur or otherwise.

VERY VERY pleased with this lens

Watched a video on portrait photography that advocated an 85 mm for portrait shots....and as family photographer in a big family, portrait shots are very appealing. I have been using it for a week now and am absolutely delighted with the clarity of shot this lens gives me. Much less light is needed, and for the first time i feel that i can really take control of my subjects! I would recommend this lens to anyone who is looking to step up from basic lenses and likes to think of portraits!
