I shoot a lot of senior and model photos this lens is excellent at producing great photos for those kinds of shoots, the bokeh from this lens Is fantastic with its smaller aperture..if your in the market for a lens that's almost as good as an L lens this is what your looking for.

Ok so I'm no pro, but I love the bokeh on this lens. I know the 1.4 would have been better but this does the job for a novice photographer. My husband approved the lens when he saw the photographs it takes so im pretty content.

Bought this lens for my photography business and it has an excellent bokeh effect and a very clear image, but make sure you realize this camera does not zoom in or out and you must stand back quite a ways to get a full picture.

I got this lens to up my portrait game and it has been one of my favorite pieces of kit ever since. The subject isolation is fantastic and the bokeh is delicious. The best part is that this lens goes on sale periodically so just wait a few weeks and it will probably be on sale.

It's sharp and the f/ 1.8 definitely gives a nice bokeh.

Needed a new prime portrait lens for a bug project I was doing with a European performance shop and this is just what I needed. Although it isn't the "red riing" 85mm that Canon offers, it still takes great sharp pics and works amazing in low light. Using this on my Canon 5D Mark IV.

I checked out lens for a good while before I bought this one. I wanted good crisp clear pictures with blur in the background. This lens gives me what I want. I'm very pleased.

Definitely a deal lens for portraits. A bit of back focus issues at times. But this can produce sharp, creamy photos.

This is a great lens and I bought it to use for Weddings. It is great for getting just what I need. If you can afford the 1.4 Id get that one but until I can get it this one still works great!

This lens allows me to capture my boys action shots at their basketball and baseball games. Focuses in on them and captures really clear shots.

So I’ve just had the default lenses since I got my Canon 70D but this lens take it the the NEXT LEVEL. I am totally in love! Totally worth every penny if you want to take your photography to the next level!

After much research I decided on this lens to capture indoor basketball photos of my son. A bit tight for a small gym...but perfect from the bleachers of any high school or college gym. Great in low light, fast lens, captures the action perfectly. Love it!

I loveeeee this lens. It brings me so much money and I appreciate it! I recommend this to be a photographer main prime lens! This will give the best crisp photos!

I have a 50mm so I was not sure about adding this as my next lens but am quite pleased with my purchase. Still a beginner and it definitely improved my shots. Excellent lens for the price!
