Customer Ratings & Reviews

Great Product. Works like it's suppose to with EF type lenses from Canon.

Allows us to use our old lenses so we’re happy. The added length isn’t an issue. This allows us to consider other EF lenses like the zoom lenses that are cheaper than their RF counterparts.

I am using for my new EOS r6 mark ii. My older lens works perfect without any hassle. Autofocus works well too and fits well. No complaints!

I was hearing mixed reviews of people using this adapter with their EF canon lenses - but you literally cannot tell a difference in the quality! Save yourself money and keep your old lenses and use this bad boy. It's perfect and will get you those high quality lens shots even if they aren't RF lenses. The price is great too in my opinion - also, just get this one instead of any knock offs.

With this adapter my EF lenses work flawlessly. The autofocus is just as fast as they are when mounted to my 80D. Great adapter! I will say, the one downside is not having the control ring. I have gotten quite used to the control ring on my RF lens and find myself missing it when I use my EF lenses.

The adapter is easy to put on the camera and it works well. There is no noticeable weight or length added.

The Canon EF-EOS R adapter is an absolute lifesaver, especially for those looking to upgrade their camera body without the hefty cost of new lenses. It flawlessly connects my existing EF lenses to my EOS R series camera, preserving the image quality superbly. It's a smart investment that has saved me a significant amount of money. If you're planning to upgrade your Canon camera, this adapter is a must-include in your budget. It's reliable, efficient, and ensures a seamless transition to newer camera models. Highly recommended!

Allows you to use EF lenses on mirrorless R system. Your lenses will feel upgraded and easy to use. If you are financially ready to upgrade to RF lenses then this unit is a no brained.

A must have as I was a EOS 5D MkIV user moving to EOS R and wanted to use all my beautiful EF L-series primes. Also allows you to buy 2nd hand EF lenses for much cheaper than buying the new RF equivalents. Build quality is pro-level, so a bit heavy.

I use this to connect some older L glass to my R6 Mark II. Works flawlessly.

I had trouble finding this in stock, but it's now available! I purchased this after using ef mount lenses and then recently purchasing the canon RP mirrorless camera. Adapter works great and saves a lot of money so I can use my EF lenses

Perfect adapter. You can save money by using old lenses on the new mirrorless cameras with this adapter.

I am a photographer and you can never go wrong with the 50

I have a couple of these that I just leave on my older EF lenses. Works great on EOS R and R5 cameras.

Combined with my R5 this works great for my EF lenses. This is the less expensive version that doesn't have the control ring. In hindsight, it might be worth the extra $100 for that functionality.

This adapter allows me to use my EF lenses which works well with the newer RF cameras. A definite money saver as one converts to the available RF lenses.

Paired this with my R10 and it hasn't had a single issue with any of my EFS or EF lenses. Makes the jump to a mirrorless camera from a Rebel or D series way more painless. It does add about an inch of length to your lens when attached, so longer lenses start looking a little silly, and short pancake lens lose a little of what makes them compact. Also, EF lenses are much more available and affordable on the used market, so this becomes an amazing asset for quality and savings.

right item, quality, price and more over that you can expect

There's always the temptation to buy the third party brand items but Ive never had a problem when buying authentic Canon and this item has been no different.

Takes great photos! Was a bit nervous about the price but did not disappoint!
