This is a great lens, light, compact and really simple to use. I like that it has a LED light around the front lens with two brightness levels. It can get super close to your subjects with awesome detail, I had a blast taking pictures of bugs and textures. Highly recommended!

I really love it. Easy to use, compact and lightweight

I'm mainly a hobbyist and mostly shoot a lot of macro stuff (flowers, rocks, insects etc), so this lens was ideal for the purpose. But it also turns out to be quite a good lens for just walking around, taking street photos, simple landscapes in nature areas, etc. The only caveat I'd offer is that the built-in ring light is a neat gimmick but really doesn't do much for you in terms of lighting. Also, with the super-macro function, be prepared to use a tripod or monopod - almost impossible to focus shooting handheld.

Its very snappy. Takes sharp photos and is good as a standard lens when not in macro. You just need extra light when doing macro shots to get the perfect image.

I purchased this lens to use with my EOS M50 because I wanted to have a lens that was faster than my kit lens with the added benefit of having macro capabilities . I was pleasantly surprised to discover the lens doubled as a good portrait lens when you consider the focal length with the crop factor of the APS-C sensor. Im having a little trouble getting really sharp macro shots yet , but that has less to do with the lens and more to do with my lack of practice with the lens. I have however had great success with general use of the lens. the little LED lights is really cool as well. I cant wait to get better at using the lens for macro shots of small critters.

Mostly impressed with the lens the short time I've used it. Not having to add a ring flash is a definite plus. Feels flimsy, but I think it will be durable. Would buy again.

I've got an m50 that I use this with to capture macro nature shots. Have ended up with some very good pictures of flowers.

I bought this lens for my M50 so I could do macro photography, which is a photo genre I really like. The lens works great.

Like this lens for extreme closeups. I use it to take pictures of my wife’s Lego builds. Built in light to the lens is awesome. All efm lenses are great and this is no exception. Use it with my canon m50.

Doesn't seem to focus just right it went software updates Kind of hard to use

I am just blown away with the photos I am capturing.

I bought this lens with high hopes but sadly the ring light was defective. I decided to return it and not get another one. I think the light will have the potential of future failure. However, the reviews were very good and all in all I would say try it. You might like it !
