I previously owned to separate lenses - an 18-55mm and a 55-250mm. I was losing shots trying to change lenses on the fly. This lens is now my every day go to lens.

accidentally dropped the original lens that came with the camera so i had to purchase a replacement lens. This lens works great, but it is pricey almost like buying a new camera but no point of having two cameras with one lens. Great addition to if you wanted to upgrade your DSLR.

I bought this lens for a wedding event. Its really good for beginner like me. I can zoom in and zoom out, so i dont have to move back and forth like when im using my fixed lens. I love the price match at best buy. I got a great discount on this item.

Replaced a Tamron with similar focal length. This Canon lens is more solidly built, pics seem sharper and brighter than the old lens. Very happy with this purchase.

It's must what I needed to take pics for a local festival. It worked to close ups and also long shots at the parade. I didn't have to carry two lenses!
