We use our Canon camera every day for documentation. The Rebel is still going strong, but just replaced the lens. Overall a great value.

I purchased this lense to replace a similar product. We liked the quality of picture that it took and did not cost much. Although it is not a professional grade lense, we did not need anything special. We use this lense to take photos of our kids as they grow up. Works well.

The lens does what it is meant to do and performs as expected. It is as the title says, a replacement for the original. It is for a beginner and maybe (stretching it) for an itermediate photographer. For an inexpensive lens it is great.

Works wonderful. Nice for portrait pics and close range shots. I do not like the protective lense cap design compared to the "old" ones. But that's not a big issue obviously.

I had a Canon Rebel T1i for seven years with this same model lens and the camera finally gave out. I upgraded to a Canon Rebel T7. That is a big jump in camera models but it also came with this lens as standard. There is much improvement in the quality of the lens between models. The features are the same but the auto focus feature has been improved.

I'm not a technical photographic wizard, but I know what I like. This is the lens I use the most, and it gives me wonderful, sharp, well-lighted photos. I am content.

I believe everyone should have a lens like this. It is a perfect starter lens because it can be used for many things. The ease of zoom is great! It can be a little shaky at highest zoom, but for the price it is solid.

Although it is plastic (my old one was metal) it functions perfectly.

This lens is a really nice for everyday shooting. Great for beginners or advanced! Compatable with most filter & zoom lenses. I recommend this to anyone.

My son pulled my camera off the table and broke the lens that came with the camera so I was just replacing what I already had. But the new lens works great.
