great lens for the amateur

Great On The Go Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a great lens when you need tight shots with a crop body Canon camera like a Rebel. With the 1.6x factor from these bodies, the lens is more like a 16-30mm. When at the minimal focal length (10mm) it does get a "fisheye" look. A photo editing program like Photoshop or Lightroom can make the image flatter while a video program like Premier Pro can do the same for video unless you want that look. Overall, it's been a great lens to use on my video and photo shoots.

I was looking something more of a panorama lens, trying not to stitch images together, but still like this lens anyways and kept it. Never disappointed with Canon lenses.
