As a realtor I needed a lens that could catch those smaller rooms and at the same time do well in larger rooms without too much distortion. This lens meets these needs very well.

Perfect range! Good wide angle lens yet fish eye effect is minimal at widest angle. Not the greatest for low light shot, but what do you rxcoect from an f4.5! Highly Reccomeneded and worth the cost.

The lens was everything I wanted, I have a small apartment and an aps-c lense so filming inside was impossible to get the right shot, it was far to zoomed in. This lens is the best price vs product that I could find, the video quality is amazing and shows everything I want in frame, I will continue to use this lens for blogging for years to come. The only downside is if your looking for a low apperature for that blurry background look, this will not provide that but the cost, makes up for it if your just starting out

This wide angle lens offers a different perspective for everyday photography. I have used it with landscape photography and portrait shots. The results are crisp and excellent.

This lens is perfect for vlogging. Captures you’re whole face without it being too close. Auto focus is good, not quick, but definitely not slow. Overall great lens.

I'm pleased with the purchase. It performs as expected. Not great in low light but I knew that before buying. Once I can afford the better lens I'll switch to it, but this will suffice till then. Just make sure to limit your shots to daytime outdoors or well-lit interior.

This was my first wide angle lens. The focus motor is really nice (STM) you can get really creative within the 10-18mm range. It will add a lot to your photography. The lens is very small and light, which is a plus. Image quality is very good. my only concern is the plastic mount. But from what I've read it is not a issue, even in the long-term. If you have a limited budget, like I had, this may be the lens you want to get. I rarely use a telephoto ( don't do portraits, or macro work) I use this lens and the kit 18-55 (non stm, was cheaper, but works well) Believe it ,or not the kit lens also has verygood image quality.

This is certainly not going to give you the highest quality images but it does a fine job from what I have been able to see thus far. I primarily purchased this lens for a VLOG setup (handheld Canon 80D DSLR). It is not a fast lens (aperture) but the IS helps give you some wiggle room in low light. It has fantastic AF though and that is great with the AF tracking on the 80D. I would highly recommend you purchase the lens hood as well to help shield the lens from too much lens flare. If you are planning on shooting expansive and super detailed landscape imagery then this is not the lens for you. If you are planning on doing some basic photography or videography (family, vlogging, snap shots, etc.) then this is a great lens and great price point for better than average image quality.

I purchased this lens, i have not had too much of a chance to use it but the test photos are great. It has great auto focus, and pictures are great.

I haven't had a chance to use this for the purpose I bought it for (real estate) yet but have for other things and I think I'm going to love it:) Affordable$

I needed a wider lens for a shoot, and I prefer zooms, and this lens performed wonderfully. It was very affordable, and very sharp. It also doesn't have an unmanageable amount if distortion. The only thing that would make it better would be a faster f-stop but then the price would gave been much higher.

Lens for the money is great. F stop is ok but the pictures with lighting are awesome. Great field of view and an awesome wide angle. Very happy with the purchase.

Just what I needed for those larger view shots (group pictures and real estate room photos)! Very clear, very little distortion around the edges. Fits perfectly on my 90.

This lens is extremely fun to use, if you have the light for it. It does not capture much at all in the dark. I plan to use it for actions scene in my upcoming feature so it will be incredibly useful for that. Great price and worth the purchase if you have the right use for it.

Got this lens for some wide landscape shots, and it worked great. It's also just a fun lens for giving photos that "ultra-wide angle" effect. It does distort the edges of your photos, but it does make a pretty clear and crisp shot.

It’s quite plasticy,and very light.good for semi professionals,and it’s hard to shoot in low light conditions.for the price it’s a good choice.
