Good wide angle lens for vlogging

I purchased this from a local bestbuy and was able to hook it up to my Canon 80D almost right away. Compared to my 18-135mm lens that came with the video creator kit, the field of view with this lens was so much wider. It was also great in that I did not have to hold the camera so far away from me to fit in the frame. I can hold the camera relatively close to my face and still fit in the frame. The only reason I did give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is plastic. The lens that is a step above has a metal ring to mount it to the body, but it is also double the price. It doesn't affect the lens whatsoever having a plastic mount especially if you take care of your gear, but accidents do happen. Overall, good lens for vlogging.

Great Purchase

This lens is worth all the praise. It is a truly amazing lens for this price. We looked at 2 top competitors with higher price tags but decided on this lens over the others because of the focal range, image stabilization and the internal chip that syncs automatically with the Cannon cameras.

Must Have Lens for Real Estate Listing Photos
