I love this lens, I’ve used it for photography and video on my 80D. It performs amazing in low light and still has the wide range. I went with this one over the 50mm because I needed a wider shot

With my Rebel T6i, this lens go together very well. I already bought 40mm pancake of canon months ago. 24mm is more usefun in everyday shooting. Small size make the life easy. Image quality and colors are fantastic for this price

I enjoy how small this lens is - makes it easier to want to carry around a bulky DSLR. Wide angle look and okay for portraits. Great for everyday use though.

Bought it on a whim! I am going to Disneyland and I wanted a lens that wasnt so bulky or heavy. Disneyland crowds will give you little room for picture taking so I wanted something that wasnt so close up. I decided to go with the 24mm and I really do like it! You could be close enough to the subject and still capture the background. Granted, i havent actually used it at Disneyland, but once i do, i know i wont have any issues with it. The camera already adds some weight to my neck, but adding this one, it wont break my neck. Also, pictures come out fine. i'm not a profesh photog, i just have a t3 that works well, but i still like how my pictures come out. You should toats get it!!

Provides very clear and sharp images. I really love that it helps my Canon 80D provide better quality pictures in very low light scenarios. Very affordable and a useful!

this lens is great, but I don't think it's as good as the 50nm lens. I'm not saying, that there is something worng with this lens, I just like the 50mm lens better. I would recommend this lens. If you like or need a 24mm lens.

I am using this lens on an a6000 with a commlite adapter. You can find plenty of technical reviews if you are apixel peeper. For the size, price, and performance it is a very good deal.

This lens is sharp at all apertures and it focuses relatively fast in low light. The weight is definitely a plus, specially when you are hauling around other heavy lenses and bodies. This is must have for any photographer with a crop body.

This is a very light and versatile lens. I use it on my Canon 70D and with it being a crop sensor, at 24mm it made it very handy to take pictures of my family, friends, and everything in between (i.e. having to back up a lot like you would with a 50mm f1.8 on a crop sensor).

I love the 24mm prime. Im an amateur photographer who’s new to the DSLR world. I love to travel and am often photographing landscapes. Although the kit lenses are great for beginners, like me, after a few runs you realize you need a bit more to capture certain images. The kits lens didn’t perform well in low lighting so I needed something a bit more. The 24mm at 2.8 has been perfect. Again, I’m still learning this digital world so I didn’t want to break the bank in lens purchases. Perfect compact lens for travel!

This lens is really great for a beginner. This was a huge upgrade from the kit lens that my camera came with. Sharpness and over all image quality is fantastic. This is a prime lens which means you can't change the focal length, but this is a great way for beginner photographers to learn composition and really focus on learning to use their camera. I also love the size of this lens. Its so small which makes it easier to throw the camera in your bag for travels. My only downside to this lens is that it's a bit slow to focus, or sometimes has a lot of trouble focusing on moving objects. This can be fixed pretty easily by putting the lens into manual focus. But for the price, this lens is a steal.

Lens it’s sharp but not to sharp. Have some pink/purple around some parts of picture when shooting In light. Highly recommend if your going to be making videos. Good for small places since it’s a wide lens

This was my first prime lens ever. And it is one of my favorites. Focal range is great, picture quality is amazing, and it is so small you dont even know its a lens. I was walking around with this on my t5 at a car meet and a guy with a 5d and L lens looked and said "wish I had your setup instead" I have taken some of my favorite pictures ever on this lens. 5 years later those pictures still make me say wow. pair this lens up with a nifty fifty or the even smaller 40mm f2.8 (i seriously dont know how they made a lens that small) and you will have a super light weight killer street /general photography combo.
