Great lens for this price point. I wanted something to get photos of sports from a distance and this lens works wonderful for my needs

I bought this as a add on for my daughter's camera, and now couldn't imagine not having it. She's able to zoom in from far away and get amazing photos, she loves to take nature and pictures of animals, so for an inspiring photographer this is a must have as an add on for your camera.

I'm just beginning learning how to use my new Canon DSLR, but I do like having this lens when I need to shoot across wide expanses (over bodies of water or across a field). I have always been pleased with all the Canon products I have purchased.

Works very good for me. Quality is what I expected. I've only ever used the kit lens (18mm-55mm) before this purchase so not sure how it compares to others with similar zoom. All I know is the pictures that I take are good quality. I get the picture results I expect.

Just picture perfect and what I need in a zoom lense. Well worth the purchase.

For school events when you can never sit close enough, this has turned out to be a great zoom lens for our needs. It starts where the stock lens ends off and goes far enough to get close enough for almost all of our needs. Pictures are sharp and crisp.

This lens is a good value offering a relatively wide focus range and fast zooming. It is also relatively light weight for its size. Good for outdoor vacation photography. The price is low or moderate enough so if I lost or broke it a few years from now I'd still feel I had gotten my money's worth.

Upgraded to this lens with the Rebel T3 instead of the standard bundle and received additional off the promo for bundle. I wanted the image stabilization and longer lens range. This lens was more comparable to the lens I was using on my old Canon camera. I use this lens as my standard lens for shooting.

I really like detail and getting up close but not causing disruptions in natural shots of people. This lens allowed me to get up and personal while being at a distance.I am also able to get lots of detail with moving animals or children.

I got this lens to take over for the stupid 55-750 mm lens they included with my Canon Eos Rebel T5 kit (that lens doesn't have image stabilization). Lens hooked up with no problems, and it takes beautiful pictures, even in low light. Got it for a reasonable price, too.

This lens has great depth and the zoom range is just slightly less than what both of my original lenses covered. I only have to carry this new lens with me now. It is a Canon lens and is very high quality. So glad I purchased it.

Love it ! This is an awesome lens to have. it is lightweight and very responsive. I used this lens to take a picture of Lincoln Park Zoo from the 95th floor of the Hancock building-you can see the people clearly in the zoo and can make out every landmark with ease. This is an awesome lens!

This lens is bang for your buck... Great zoom lens and very light in weight… It’s nice and clear and when you put it in a crop sensor camera you get a lot of reach... it’s also macro… Not the best macro but it does the job… You do get good Bokeh.

I used this for the first time at a WWII re-enactment event; from where I was sitting I was able to take long distance photos and videos with this lens. The end result of the pics and videos was great; they turned out great.

Smooth, solid lens. Very light. Good starter IS lens for wildlife photography.

I am a real amateur photographer and don't know a whole lot about lenses, but I wanted a zoom lens to take some sports pics of my kids and this lens works well. It's not the high dollar lens that real photographers use but for the price it does the job. The stabilization works great on it. Auto zoom works very well also. Overall it's been a solid lens.

This is truly a great lens for a very low price. I've been shooting with it for over a year and it's been wonderful. I've done a few weddings and everything has turned out great.
