    I use the lens to shoot my sons football games. It has decent reach on my 70d and good sharpens. It will focus in an instant in good light and very quickly in lower light. The only negative I see is that you will shoot sports with a higher iso to stop action because of the lens f-rating, but my sons games are mid day so I still great great shoots.
