This lens has some serious zoom for it's size and weight. I have used it to shoot several action scenes and it has performed to my expectations.

I did a ton of research before purchasing, and I was not disappointed. Clean shots even at full zoom. However I would recommend the use of a tripod if shooting for an extended period. Very satisfied.

I purchased this lense not really understanding what the difference would be, but I notice the enhanced Zoom, better focus, and ease of use.

Why have a DSLR without a telephoto lens? This one is fully compatible with my camera, and the image stabilization and auto focus work really well (a good thing, since the lens is a bit heavy for me for hand-held photography)

Perfect lens when you want to capture a moment far away. Took this to the San Diego zoo and was able to get amazing quality pictures from afar.

Great size and great image quality. Works with the m mount. Quick af, brilliant colors. I use it with my canon m100 and it exceeds all expectations.

Works great….zooms far and clear. Use for kids sports from sidelines and pics turn out great.

This is not a high end lense. It is good for the price point. Zoom is quiet, stabilization is great, has caught some great action shots. Worth the money.

So far, this has proven to be an excellent addition to the SL1 that I purchased as part of a bundle. Great clarity and ease of operation. Very solid, substantial feel.

Good lens for getting those far away shots. I like the image stabilization feature of the lens. I've owned other Canon lenses in the past and this one is one of my favorites.

This lens turned out to be just what I was looking for. Lightweight, easy to change out, works like a dream. Just wished I bought a clear lens cover for it too.

I say good for 2 reasons. I am new to photography, and an amateur to all its equipment and accessories. And also, I am sure there are far more superior lenses that cost a lot more that canon makes. I leave room for that. So, with that in mind, my review is this is a good lens. Worth it for budget. Nice clear lens.

I don't know what to compare it to since I'm new in the DSLR world, but it has a great zooming and the pictures come out really clear and crisp. I love it!

This lens is great for taking pictures of things that are farther than your eyes can see. The quality of the picture is great, even when fully zoomed in.

This is my favorite lens to take with me when I travel. Easy to use. Was not a budget breaker.

THATS ALL FOLKS! IMAGE STABILIZATION! What a difference this makes. The zoom is pretty good. I used this in grand canyon and I got really good pictures.

Great for taking photos of birds in back yard. Surprised at the detail and quality and I am just a beginner. Very easy to attach to camera.

I took this out to take pictures of a sporting event. Works great except that the only thing it is good for. Not enough zoom for wildlife photography and doesn't take a lot of light in. Still recommend this though if you need an upgrade in the zoom feature from your kit lens.
