I have this lens attached to Canon T6i and it does the job for landscape shots. I did try using it to take product pictures, but they didn't pan out as well like my other lens.

This is a great lens for the price. I didn't necessarily need the f/2.8, so this was a great buy.

This lens is pricy but it's great for a beginner. Try to get this lens for under $900.00 . It's worth the purchase. It takes great landscape pictures.

Outstanding lens for real estate photography. Minimal distortion and sharp as a tack from f/4 up. I shot f/8 or f/9 most of the time, and it produced magnificent photos 100% of the time.

This new lens has surpassed many of the prime lenses in this Canon range for sharpness, especially corner sharpness. It surpasses the Canon 2.8 version for color rendition. Unless you are shooting indoor sports where you'll need the extra stop for speed don't spend the extra money.

After reading countless reviews and watching youtube videos, I finally decided to buy this instead of the 16-35 f2.8 iii, for the price of this lens (less than half the cost), it has image stabilization, ultrasonic motor, and incredible sharpness throughout aperture ranges. 10/10.
