I didn't get the results for me that I expected from this lens at the price range. It's not a bad lens, but after all the hype, I thought it would be instant AWE, and it just wasn't. That's just my personal view. All my equipment is Canon and I've owned 5 L series lenses. My best experience came from the 35mm f4L ll which I bought from Amazon and still have and love. Next after that is the 135mm f4L which I still own and bought at half the cost of this (in my opinion) over rated lens. My last experience at Best Buy was a horrible one which will keep me from returning there for any new purchase. They need to learn customer respect and quality service. I'm done with the run around trying to get a live person on the phone to discuss a new purchase. NEXT!

This lens is fantastic. It could be the only lens you'll ever need. Smooth motion, and sharp focus.

Great, sharp lens. Surprisingly small for a 24-70 2.8. Only negative is no stabilization.
