I have been hesitant to get this lens because of the price, and the fact I usually shoot with primes. I shoot primarily indoors and small spaces and this is THE PERFECT lens. It's super sharp and fast. If you only buy one lens, this is it!

It took me a while to take the plunge with this lens but after using it for a few weeks now, I’m glad I’m did! The pictures are sharp and this lens is so versatile. No regrets! Just really take your time getting used to it and give it a chance.

Love this lens. Super sharp and fast. It's a little shorter and the diameter is longer than the previous model. It stays on my camera 80% of the time. I t's my work horse.

This lens is so beautiful. I'm still building my gear, but I'm so glad this is the first L lens I bought. I will say it's very heavy and adds significant weight to your camera, but I would say it's completely worth it for the quality of photos it gives you.

All I could say is, amazing. Quality of my photos are outstanding! I was hesitant at first because of the price, but it really is worth the money. I mostly use it for portraits. From time to time, landscapes too. I have it paired with my 90D and I could definitely get better quality if I had a different camera I believe.

Awesome lens. When I moved to to a full frame 5D MARK IV camera, all my lenses were EF except for one, which was EF-S. That lens was a 17mm-85mm and the only one in my kit in that range for a zoom. I had to replace it, and decided to go with the 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM and all I can say is WOW! Compared to that lens, this is so much better in clarity and low light, and it also holds it own compared to the Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art lens I also have, which I was surprised at. Worth the money if staying with the EF system and should be great on the RF system with the adapter when the move to mirrorless becomes the norm.

Canon's L-series lenses bring superb optical quality to customers. Even with an ordinary "Rebel" series DSLR, there is a VERY noticeable difference in the quality of images that I can capture. The shallow depth of field due to the f/2.8 aperture gives really nice bokeh, and the auto-focus works extremely accurately. The results are really nice photos under a wide variety of conditions. Definitely a must-have lens if you are serious about photography, though it helps to have deep pockets or a good eye for sales to get this lens at a decent price.

This was an add to my Canon L series lenses. I wanted to add the lower light capabilities with the f2.8 aperture. Outperformed my expectations on its first outing. Excellent, versatile lens.

This lens is amazing and very sharp at all focal lengths, even wide open. Color and contrast are excllent too. Lens is pricy and heavy, but if you want a great quality lens you have to have this.

Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II is built for the highest professional standards optically and mechanically. Great colors and contrast, pleasing images. Very sharp from a tripod, but handheld requires a high shutter speed that in low light negates the advantage of the fast aperture. Bokeh is good, but not the best and can be busy depending on the background. One of the best Canon lenses, but still an expensive compromise.

I've been eyeing this lens for quite some time now, but naturally the price is a bit up there. I finally picked this up about a month ago and at the perfect time. Just in time for a wedding I was going to shoot. Took advantage of the member's appreciation month and got 24 mo. no-interest financing with my Best Buy credit card and never looked back. I absolutely love this lens. Great medium-range zoom and takes beautiful portraits. Again, overall great piece of glass. It's pricey, but definitely worth it.
