I am a professional photographer and have been in business for over 10 years. I have used Tamron 24-70 and when I compare the output of the Tamron vs. Canon, Canon beats the Tamron though a bit expensive but results are amazing and I can recommend this!

Great lens, however I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. My 70-200, 2.8 is just so much better (just heavy).

I am a beginner photographer but I must say it has already been easy to see the difference with the L series lens in your ability to get clearer photographs. If you want the best, I guess you have to pay more.

This has become my all time favorite lens! I use to use the Canon 16-35 mm f/2.8 as my primary. Mainly for the low f-stop because I do tons of video in low light. I needed a good zoom lens that has a low light capability and found it in the 24-70 mm. Hands down my favorite lens now.

This lens is awesome, it's like the daily driver of Canon lenses. Perfect for when it's your only lens and you need to cover a variety of situations. Images are sharp and beautiful. Would recommend if you can't afford a plethora of L prime lenses.

I use this camera lens as my go-to quite often! It looks great, produces sharp images, and I love that it came with a hood! 10/10 Highly recommend this lens. If you're on the fence, here's your sign to just go for it!! It's worth it.

this lens is has the perfect zoom amount and is very sharp. The quality of the image is great. However, I do not think that the update is worth the price tag.

As a professional photog, I needed an all around great lens for landscapes, portraiture, etc. This one takes the cake. Crystal clear images paired with the Canon 5D mark iii. Doesn't get much better than this!!

If you need to get just one lens to cover an event, this is the one! Sharp and works well in low light with that f2.8 limit. The variation from 24 to 70 offers a lot of coverage from wide to portrait. Woeth it!

If you have the canon 24-70 I then this is a great upgrade. It is lighter, faster, and better optics. However, it is pricey. There are cheaper alternative like the tamron 24-70 but if you are a die-hard canon shooter then this is lens is worth the money.

Paired with my Canon 5D Mark II, this lens is absolutely remarkable! This is my very first wide angle lens, and I'm so glad I bought! Photos are all very sharp, and this lens is excellent in low light. Definitely one of Canon's best lenses!
