    Bought this to go with my DJI Ronin S gimbal. They don't tell you that if your camera or camera lens don't have stabilization then the gimbal won't help you much. It's been great so far without the gimbal. Will test with it soon.

    My son got this lens to start street photography. He really like the control he has and the real proof comes with the photos he's taken that are great and tell a good story.

    I decided to stop using 50mm lenses and switch to 35mm as my standard lens. So far, I really like this one. It's very sharp, fast focusing, and the IS makes it even better. Highly recommended.

    You get what you pay for. A nifty fifty is good for a full frame but a 35mm on a crop frame is about the same field of view. This lens is tops.

    I knew about photography as a teen through a friend who had a yashica camera; of course in those days everything was film . It was even before the instant photo labs . One had to drop his film off at pharmacies and days later, receive his portraits, 8x7s , et al .... b&w mostly but for a fee colored ones ... I remember asking “jerald” a radio personality turned professional photographer, “which camera is the best you can buy ?” His reply- Canon! I never forgot that . And I believe it too.

    Using this lens on my crop sensor T7i and it makes it feel like I’m using a 50mm. Fun walk around prime lens with some great bokeh!
