The canon EF70-300 IS II USM zoom lens is a nice entry lens worth every penny you can get.. It is not a super high level lens as some might be, but what it can do on long shots is well worth the price.

I bought this lens to compliment my new Canon 90D. As a team photographer, it has allowed me to take quality pictures at distance for my son's high school football and lacrosse games. I look forward to putting it to further use for nature and wildlife shots.

This lens is like all Canon Lenses, well built and works perfectly. As it is 70-300 mm it does a great job of encompassing a wide range of shots. Quiet and works well with my camera

Really happy with this purchase. Price is very reasonable for what it can do. Used it during soccer games and have great success capturing action shots even from Afar. I highly recommend this lens.

This is a great lens for the novice photographer. Especially for the price. I would recommend this lens as an upgrade.

Canon makes great lenses, the zoom and stability is great and not very heavy.

Kinda pricy but worth it would be a excellent lens for side line sports shooters who have early evening games or late morning/early evening wild life shooters on a crop sensor body because as long as you keep the zoom range in the f4 aperature you'll still be able to keep a decent enough shutter speed for moving objects and it gives you the 1.6 magnification so your range will be better than that on a full frame.

We use this lens all the time for our kid's soccer games. it has a great amount of zoom and with the sports mode set on the camera, we can get some really good, close-up action shots.

Bought this with my new 6D. I don't use telephoto much but wanted something with good quality and reasonable price. Very happy with it!

A good telephoto size for great photos of landscape and wildlife. This lens is quite easy to use. It's not too heavy or bulky to carry around.

After researching various brands in this focal length I ordered Canon's version, The image quality is way more than I expected and the AF speed was quite impressive. The digital readout on the lens is very cool , I can see where that could be helpful with night/astrophotography although I have not needed to use it that much. Currently using with a 90D and a T5i
