After reading & watching reviews, I decided to purchase this lens and I'm glad I did. The stabilization is amazing. Pics are sharp. I'd had loved to be able to afford the L series, but I have zero regrets about this lens. The lcd on top is kind of a gimmick but the stabilization & focusing are fast.

Love it, easy to switch lenses and love the zoom. Only draw back would be the weight, seems very heavy.

Been using this lens a few weeks now and very satisfied with the quality and build. Quick focusing, not too heavy either. Would have been nice if they threw in the lens hood.

Photography is a hobby, not a job, for me but I still purchased as the lenses that came with the camera I have (Rebel T5) just weren’t allowing me to fulfill my potential. This camera is great for a beginner learning the ways with room to grow.

Purchased as a light weight travel lens where large telephoto is not needed. Serves that purpose very well. Not compatible with tel-extender but does work very well with macro attachments very well. The focus is fast.

I replaced my 75-300 IS USM lens with 70-300 IS II and loving it. If find LCD useful and the nano USM faster. Lens filters can be expensive for the 67 mm diameter. It has a cheaper price point compared to the 75-300 IS.

I got this on sale ($450) and it was well worth it. I'm a hobbyist photographer so I don't need to buy L glass. This filled my requirements and the photos come out nice.

Lens is lightweight as compared to older version. My older 70-300 zoom doesn't have USM or stabilization and both of these features make a huge improvement in image quality with this lens.

read reviews in photo mags, as there were no product reviews. A Christmas present to myself - and so far pleased with the results,. So much better photo clarity than the 70-300 mm kit lens that came with my Canon T5. I am not a professional photographer, just enjoy taking photos
