Good lens for starting out

This lens was great for the one outdoors. I got great close ups of her receiving her "diploma". The daughter's that was inside was also good. I think I need to get a better camera due to lighting (or learn how to use the old one I have better)

Perfect for daytime sporting events.

I highly recommend getting a circular polarizing filter and lens hood to use with the lens. Works well in bright light situations.
