I have already captured some distant photos with this telephoto lens that was part of a bundle pkg. I captured some great sky scenery on Christmas eve as well as some wildlife activity off in a distant.

I bought this camera in a "military bundle" that included the camera (w/ 18-55mm lens, strap, lens cap, usb cable, etc.), the 75-300mm lens, an sd card, and a shoulder bag. I originally wanted to get the a58 by Sony but I ended up choosing this over that one because it was Black Friday and I decided it was the better choice.

Works great for the price. Great for outdoor shooting

upon purchasing this lens, i forgot to make sure it had image stabilization (which upon further research is a much much more expensive option) so ended up using my 55-250mm kit lens more often. for the price though, you get solid zoom, and a good quality product that takes clear pictures if you can hold the camera extremely still.

It brought our grand-daughter's graduation up close to us, even though our seats were in the nose-bleed section. We were able to follow her with the entrance, when she sang in the choir and received her diploma. It really made our experience special for us.

Great lens for beginners, great zoom, great output

I bought this lens and took it for a shoot at our local zoo. The long focal length allowed me to get great shots of birds in trees, etc. For the price, it's an excellent zoom lens. I wish it was a little faster (i.e.: f/1.8) but overall, a great lens!

I bought the lens to take pictures of my son's sports events. I am extremely happy. Great clear pictures from a distances.

I am impressed with the lens and its worth the money ... I have a few of my friends who got me hooked into photography with their posted shots. I hope to get to try this thing out to get a better understanding of the lens full capabilities.

Bought this to compliment my other short lens. It works great for distant shooting only. Had seats for my son's competition further back from stage and was able to capture him easily from the distance I was at.

This lens is amazing. It takes professional quality images of mountains and oceans. Im so happy to have found the perfect telephoto lens to take my photography to the next level. Its a must have for those who love capturing nature.

very good lens, easy to use, good for beginner or pro, cost not too bad. but do recommend getting extended warranty , it don't cost too much.

The lens seems to be of great quality with no glaring problems, as long as you set up with a tripod for better stabilization. Cannot complain for the price, quite happy with my purchase!

This was part of a bundle deal with our camera purchase and it has been put to good use. Worked amazing for daughters musical and we were able to take pictures of her on stage with great clarity from quite a few rows back!

I wanted a lense that could provide tight close-up shots and this zoom lense zooms!!! I am very happy with my purchase!!! I would also reccomend Best Buy products and special cash rewards program to my family and friends!!!

Works well enough for a good zoom lens for not a very expensive price. If I could afford the anti shake/auto stabilizer lens, I probably would have gone with that, but it is more than twice the cost of this one (plus some...) . This one works well enough for the cost.

Matched my price I found online and shipped it to me for free. I love the lens and happy I purchased it. Can't shoot in close range (living room photos) but excellent long range which is why I bought it in the first place!

Very good zoom lens with image stabilization I can take handheld images of the moon and they come out great I've taken photos of flying birds as well and they've came out great.
