This is a great camera! I bought it because I wanted to get a full frame camera without spending two grand. It has amazing low light capability and is a wonderful camera for weddings and portraits. I would recommend pairing it with a nice wide angle lens to take full advantage of the full frame sensor's capabilities. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to take the step into a professional level camera.

Before getting this camera, I wanted to get the 6D M2, but the dynamic range on the M2 is so bad, I rather get the M1. Its cheaper and performs better at higher iso and low light. This camera is weatherproof and was perfect when I took it out into the rain. So far there is nothing wrong with the camera, I currently use it for portraits, weddings, and astrophotography. This camera captures the milky way so lovely!

This is an awesome images. In a Raw format it produces amazing images that are sharp and are great for printing. It is sturdy and feels great in your hand. My only gripe is the very basic Auto Focus system. It will miss focus a shot or two, and is just a tad slow to focus in very difficult situations, but overall the camera is great and I have no regret purchasing it!

This is probably the first full frame DSLR with affordable price. Wifi and GPS are real cool features added to it. The scene mode has lots of great features, like the night handheld mode that takes four quick shots and brings the best picture out. The low light features will beat even the best pro cameras! This is so far the best Canon DSLR I have owned.

The gps is handy if you really need to remember where you shot certain photos. I love how i can send photos from the camera directly to my phone on location through the wifi. Very good in low light situations. The only thing i don't like is that it only has one card slot.

6 megapixels was great many years ago when I bought the original Canon Rebel dlsr, and that's been a great camera. However, seeing shots taking at 18 megapixels from friends showed me I was missing out. Also know I am a Canon loyalist, Nikon has great cameras too, but once you start investing in lenses in a certain direction you need to stick with it. That said, be warned the 6d is the new starting point for canon FULL FRAME photography, if you bought canon Ef-s or Ef-m lenses for your last camera, they will not work with this camera, and while my Tameron 28-300mm lense will work, it's not full frame shots. Deciding to go here is an investment, but the 20 megapixel full frame shots made it worth the expensive trip for me. I've kept my old rebel to leverage my old lenses, and will slowly rebuild a collection of full frame lenses

Great full frame camera at a reasonable price. Would be useful to have a pop up flash for fill flash use and trigger external flash to use as a slave. Great image quality paired with 24-105mm f4.0L lens Not necessary to have f2.8 aperature for low light situations with this body. f4.0 works well in low light situations with the 6D..

This is actually an excellent camera. It is an upgrade from an old Canon DSLR I had before. I am still exploring all features it has to offer but the quality of pictures is great. I would rate this camera excellent if the accompany software was provided not on a CD ROM --- latest laptop PC simply does not have a CD ROM reader!!! What can I do with the software?

Love this camera!! The dynamic range is amazing. Even really underexposed photo is easy to save with camera raw. This is an amazing camera. Only one I'd recommend is the 5d mark 3 if you can afford it Eva use of the focus points. If you aren't a pro and even if you are this camera is amazing. If you don't shoit weddings or events with low light I'd recommend this over 5d.

Fantastic camera for most applications. Great in low light, great for portraits, great for landscapes. Focus points could use improvement, as well as focus and fps. Overall, I love my 6D.

So far this camera is everything I had hoped for. I can only compare it to my canon 70d. It has a much smoother shutter release and image quality is superior. Some people complain that there isn't enough focus points, but if you use the center hold method you'll never need more than you have. Jumping from crop to full frame is awesome!

Wanted to get into full frame photography and came across this excellent deal. No it doesn't have the 61 AF points of the 5DMIII but it's a rather great camera for getting into some portrait photography and landscape photography as well. Save that cash and get yourself a nice lens to shoot with instead.

I bought this camera, but returned it. I already own two SL-1 cameras and love those (I used to shoot the 1Ds, and the 1D, then went to the 5D Mk i and II, and now to the little SL-1 - there's a pattern of me getting smaller and smaller). My SL-1's are already 18mp, and the high ISO is excellent. The 6D adds 2mp and full frame and the Wifi feature, but without the WiFi, the camera doesn't add much to what I already had. I thought full frame would be cool, but it's negligible for me, since if I really want full frame, I still shoot 35mm film, and 120 medium format film too, and the 120 scanned really high absolutely kills any full frame DSLR on the planet still. the 6D works as advertised and if you need the features it has, I recommend it. I just didn't need those features after shooting it side-by-side with my SL-1 cameras.
