Many appreciate its affordable price point for a full-frame camera and the inclusion of GPS functionality. However, some users wish for improvements in the number of focus points and battery life. The camera's frame rate was also cited as an area needing enhancement.

Great camera for those who want a full-frame sensor and don't want to pay $3000 for a 5D Mark III. As widely publicized, the autofocus is a bit gimped but not an issue if you're used to the "focus recompose" method. Excellent image quality, great for low light.

This is a great frame entry level body. Just be sure your lenses are mainly red dot lenses because only red dots will fit. White dots will not. Big differences in shooting full frame if your other cameras are not full frame. Love my canon bodies and lenses.

The 6D is a great camera functioning exceptionally well in low light situations and minimal grain at high ISO settings. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade from a cropped sensor and go into full frame and also to anyone looking for just a back up/second body to have as well.

Using a 60D, wanted better image quality at high iso settings. Reviews show the 6D is better than the 5D2 at high iso setting, so I chose the 6D, about the same price at the time. Very happy with the 6D, like to take photos inside at iso 3200 and 6400, image quality is great. No built in flash is no big deal for me, as I use a 430EX2 when I need it. Auto focus is fast and accurate, well built, highly recommended!

This is an excellent entry level professional camera. It far out performs the 5D mk2. It is excellent in low light situations and has great picture quality. Although it has a lot of focal points, only the center focus is a cross focus point. Overall, I love this camera and it was a great investment for the money.

This is my first full frame camera after upgraded from 60D. The 20mp sensor is amazing! I am not shy to dial up the ISO for low light shooting anymore and still got high quality pictures. Highly recommend to use with EF 17-40 f/4L lens for landscape pictures, you will be amazed by this combination. The silent mode shooting is the same as in 5D mark III which good for shooting in museum or music recital. I love the wifi function allowing download and take pictures through your smartphone/laptop. Wish Canon used at least the 19-pt focusing system found in 7D or 70D. Overall, this upgrade worths every single penny spent.
