Easy to use

I am a real estate agent, and for taking professional style pictures of higher end homes it is exactly what I needed. Also my daughters ballet recital pictures came out phenomenal.

Great Camera

It was amazing how easy it was to set up and start taking pictures. And the quality of the pictures are great. I am also able to take great action shots of my childrens sports.

Great camera for the advanced amateur
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In my view, this is the best camera in it's price range. I moved up from a Canon EOS 60D. The 70D offers even better image quality. The camera is lighter, tighter and more compact. Its advanced features are easier to access than in the 60D. The 18-135mm kit lens isn't the highest of quality, but it takes very good detailed images overall. One Canon's strenghs is the superb quality and variety of it's lens lineup. I have several Canon EOS lenses -- some newer, some dating back 20 years and they all take great pictures and they all work flawlessly. If you're a very good amateur photographer, or intend to be, make sure you consider the Canon 70D when you're ready for a new camera.
