I am really enjoying my new Canon camera! It takes wonderful pictures!

I have had this camera for about 4 weeks and it has been a great shooter. The camera shoots very quickly and has a great 7 fps burst that was great for a sports shoot that I did the other week. Also the low light performance is good. It can handle a good amount of low light. It isn't the best but is rather good. Besides for the shooting abilities, it has some great software and hardware features. My favorite is the wifi function that comes with the camera. You can easily grab the photos from your camera and post them to social media quickly.

This is my first camera so I don't have much to compare it to. If there is anything that I don't like about it I would say that it is a little heavy. But I am pleased with my purchase as far as the product goes. I had a really bad experience with Best Buy, however. I was told that if I signed up for their credit card I would get 10% back to use at Best Buy within 3 months which would have been about $130. I didn't get that for almost a month and when I did it was only $30. I called their corporate office and they just had a "sucks to be you" attitude. After another 3 weeks I did receive an additional $35. If I had to do over I would not purchase this from Best Buy and I can't recommend a company that treats their customers that way.

Takes excellent pictures! Camera is a little heavy, but the pics are worth it! I have only ever had point and shoot, this is my first dslr. Excited to learn all the settings, but until then the automatic mode takes beautiful photos.

so many features i'm lost but it's awesome! i wish there weren't so many buttons it can get really confusing and stressful but whatever worth it. the wifi feature, if i knew how to use it, is great!

Prior to buying I did a lot of research on this camera, although I have always been a Canon fan. Went to my local Best Buy and looked at it in person after comparing to the Nikon. Loved it but was not sold on buying at Best Buy as B&H Photo had it for a better price. Was surprise to find out Best Buy matches their prices and got it at Best Buy

Im a first time user for a DSLR camera and this was the perfect camera to begin with! I was a little intimidated by the size and all the capabilities but i started easy. I began with just an Auto setting and got comfortable with holding the camera and working with natural lighting. Eventually I started manipulating dials and reading the booklet to learn how to do more. With little help this camera takes fantastic photos. I am now a mother of 2 and use the camera almost every day! Love the purchase, absolutely worth it.
