I am completely in love with this camera. I moved up from the Pentax K7. It was a great camera that has treated me well for the last 3 years, but I felt the urge to try a different brand. It has been a good decision to go with the 70D. The features are simple to use and helpful. I love that you can easily go from manual to scene modes depending on what you're shooting! The handheld night scene is a reaaaaally cool setting. I cant wait to spend years with this camera.

I been using this camera to take photos and videos and has been great. Great auto focusing system and the kit lens that comes with it is very versatile for almost any occasion.!

Finally a camera that will let you download pictures wirelessly. I have had others that claimed to be able to do it but failed. Beautiful pictures. Loaded with features.

This camera is awesome! My favorite is the Live View and swiveling LCD. I'm still learning more and more about this camera and excited that I will finally make a short video! Woohoo! Also, the kit lens are the best! I often use it more than my nifty fifty. But to each it's own.

I went in to but the lower level camera, but the sale price made this one a great deal. It has more functions than I need and takes great pictures.

This is quite a step up from the Rebel series that Canon has. The numerous additional features (such as viewfinder grid, level display, etc...) are well worth the extra few bucks! If you are looking for a camera where the options even have options... this is the one for you!

I read lots of reviews from professional photographers who rate this camera as being only ok, however to me it is the most excellent piece of equipment I've ever owned. In the short time I've had it I've taken some of the best photos and most beautiful videos I ever have before.

This is my first DSLR, but not first Canon. I've always loved Canon digital cameras since I got my first one in 2004. I was a little skeptical about getting the 70D as I read some reviews talking about them having autofocus issues sometimes when using the viewfinder, but I've not had any of those issues and love all of the features this camera has. Too many for me to list them here and there are a lot of great reviews done by professionals, so head over to DPreview or your favorite digital photo review site and read up on the camera there. Just one more thing. The IS STM Lens is amazing, it' is so quick and it truly is silent.

Not hard to operate for a mid-level. However, price point isn't great for this type of camera and all that you're getting but the quality is good.

This is a great pro-sumer grade DSLR. I was surprised to discover that the camera requires a 90 Mb/s SD card to maintain uninterrupted video recording. The new AF features on this camera allow for fast focusing even in low light, and beyond the normal f/5.6 aperture in older cameras. Strongly recommend for photographers who want quality images on a reasonable budget.

We bought the camera for the video aspect. We like the ease we have in doing our short shoots. I have even had another person want to use it for doing simple videos.

I bought my Canon 70D probably within the 1st week Best Buy had them available on-line. I would have bought it from a local camera shop, but they would not sell boby with kit lens. I hated it but I saved $200. I replace a well used Canon 40D. I take a lot of sports photos so the action shots need the 7 fps. Many times the lighting is not the best at sporting events and this camera makes it easy to still get the action shots. Another thing nice is to be taking still photos and switch to a video with a quick flip of a switch, and back again. This is very nice when it comes to shooting grandkids, when a video is quickly needed. Doubling the megapixels of the 40D makes it nice for cropping when needed. The Q button is another nice feature that makes quick touchscreen changes to settings. I believe I am going to realling enjoy the camera as I did the Canon 40D.

This is a great camera for some who is looking to start an on the side photography business. Fast camera with clear photos.

Bought the camera for action photos and video. It's easy to use even for the inexperienced photographer. The video quality is great. It was exactly what I was looking for. I take lots of sports photos and the sharpness and detail at the most basic settings are excellent.

This is a great camera. The IS STM lenses are excellant. The movie mode (camcorder) takes amazing video and it does it with much better lenses than you can get in a camcorder. The WI-FI fetuee is great. I love it. It takes great pictures. The remote control feature using my smart phone and canon's app are wonderful. Not only can you take as many photos as you want you can see on your smart phone before you take the picture what it will look like.

The image quality is unbelievably clear. The automatic mode takes great pictures.
