This camera is fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera has more features than I'll ever use. The quality of the photos is incredible. It is far superior to my older Canon non-SLR.

love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a Christmas present to myself and I have yet to put it down. I'm a beginner photographer so this is a lot of camera. But it does it all and very easy to learn with.

High-End Feature Rich Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is definitely close to the high-end of consumer grade products. While it is not a professional-grade camera, it is the cream of the crop for consumers and hobbyists. I enjoy its relative portability, and sturdy construction. Compared to other cameras, it has many features and large amounts of fine manual controls. However, it is not cheap, so I would suggest doing a lot of research before making the investment.

The best camera for wildlife, landscapes & models
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started out wit a T3i with the 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm lens and the 75-300mm lens and now work with the 18-135mm lens and the 75-300mm lens. I would recommend this for anyone who is serious about their photography. I have compared waterfall shots done with both cameras and have found that the 70D gives me what I am looking for as compared to the T3i camera.

Excellent camera for novice or pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had a chance to use this camera extensively, but what I have done with it so far has been interesting and exciting. This camera has exceeded my expectations. I previously have used a Canon 30D, a Nikon D70, and a Nikon D3000. The 70D is a perfect balance of features and performance. Paired with any STM lens, videographers will enjoy fast and quiet focusing on their subjects. I plan to use this camera equally for pictures and video. The buying experience with Best Buy was excellent. Their manager (also a photographer) went out of his way to price match several accessories for the camera. Added a 2 year protection plan and will enjoy the feeling of security that will bring with it. Worth the investment.

Professional Camara for a great price, built solid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No more blurry pictures when set on auto.Dual Pixel AF system for Live View and movies which make it very fast at auto focusing. This is one of the best auto focus camera for both HD movies and pictures. With shutter speeds up to 1/8000 of a second this can get the pictures that you missed in the past.

Fabulous Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous Canon had a software malfunction, and I needed a new camera ASAP for a photo shoot (I'm a photographer) that I had scheduled the following day. This was an amazing and well worth every $ upgrade. I'm in love with this camera and it's quality. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that we did not have the option to purchase the camera in-store w/o the lens. We only decided to purchase w/ the lens, because I needed the camera ASAP.

Wonderful! Great results!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently retired and was looking for something to develop as a serious hobby. My old camera equipment was seriously out of date and so I looked to get up to date and surveyed what was available on the market and found this Canon. Having been one of the original purchasers of a Canon AE-1 many years ago I was familiar with the brand and its quality. I am not disappointed in my new camera and enjoying it very much. Good purchase and investment.

Great Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first real big camera, but the best buy people in the camera dept have been most helpful in helping me learn many of the features for what I want to take pictures of.

awesome, simple but professional.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this highly. I had a Nikon and am replacing it with this beauty. Simpler but more professional. Automatic or complely manual. The rear view window rotates and sending pictures directly to my phone or printer is the ultimate in convenience for me... I simply love it...

Full of features and a good lens kit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used EOS 35 mm for many years and finally moved to this DSLR. I have been experimenting with the features and the pictures are amazing. I have taken test pictures of a bicycle race, flowers, family, and more and I learn from them all. I started with my very first video, a bit shaky as I learn the controls, but I recorded recent flooding. The more I use it the more I want to get out and take pictures.

Does everything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just takes a while to go through everything. However, the basics are really easily mastered and you can take awesome shots (pretty much) right out of the box. Now having said that, the navigation is really deep, since there are so many things to get used to, and so many options. I also got the EF70-300 zoom to compliment the included 18-135 so that just about every zoom need is covered with two lenses. My other choice was the Nikon D7100, and it was a tough decision for a variety of mostly personal experience and familiarity type pros and cons. If you started out with film (like me) the total electronic transition is a learning curve all in itself. It will be awhile before I get a good handle on all the bells and whistles, but I think it's going to be fun. The 70D seemed like the next level forward for me because, in perspective, I had a Sony DSC-F707 for years, and it did a great job for it's tech-timeframe; and before that a film Canon A-1 (circa 1980's?).

Great for video!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shoot with a 5D mkIII for most of my still photography. The lack of auto focus made it a poor choice for HD video. Enter the 70D... shoots great video for personal or corporate needs! Uses all my current Cannon lenses, BONUS! Look forward to where this takes my shots....

Love this camera and lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this camera and lens for a little over 2 years now and love it. It was an upgrade from my old canon. I have learned a lot about the camera and how to use it fully on manual and it is great! Using the semi-auto options is easy if you know anything about them, if not, there's always youtube! The lens is great and what a deal as a package purchase.

An amazing cam for all level user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am new to photography and wanted to balance entry level pricing and growth if I loved it. This was easy to use, understand, and execute in many different types of photography. An expensive hobby, but glad I chose Canon as I feel like after the purchase of core equipment, they offer a ton of other options to expand into fields you like versus a one size fits all.
